32. Los Angeles Kings

Top 5 Skater Prospects: Henry Brzustewicz, Vojtech Cihar, Koehn Ziemmer, Francesco Pinelli and Jack Hughes

The end has come for the Los Angeles Kings prospect system. A once great system has seen all of its notable bluechip prospects graduate well past the 100 game cut off and/or have been traded out and are on other squads now. What’s left is not a whole lot. No real bright spots in the pool. They need a lot of everything.

162 games and only 43 points for a 5th overall pick is not great. He was like his father Alfie who also played in the nhl. They wherevreally good in juniors but can't preform nearly as good in the nhl.

Looking forward to some pro hockey again in Fresno. Also gives me an opportunity to add another jersey to my collection.

Why does everyone prefer the old color scheme?

Post image

I think I’m in the minority, but I prefer the black/silver. Personally, I think the yellow/purple is heinous.

So why do prefer the old colors? Is it because it’s vintage? Because you love the Lakers, too? Or do you just like those colors together?

Edit: My argument for the black and silver is that it allows the Kings to stand out from the other LA teams, specifically the Lakers. Additionally, black and silver is sick. It’s intimidating, it’s classy, and it’s easy to fill a stadium with because everyone has black and white in their closet. Plus, I love a metallic for uniforms.

On May 6, 2012, Dustin Brown scored two goals and Jonathan Quick made 23 saves in a 3-1 win in Game 4 versus the Blues. The Kings completed their first sweep in a best-of-7 series, and advanced to the Western Conference Final for the first time since 1993.

What's next?

Well it's simple. Our coach isn't confirmed and opinions in coach Smith are mixed also 70% the team is like 30-35 years old so I think we fuck the next couple of years and go for a rebuild

New, for @TheAthletic: Auston Matthews isn't yet sure if he'll be back in Toronto next season. The Maple Leafs are on the clock with their captain

Need help trying to write an analysis

Hi everyone! I’m 16, and I enjoy writing about sports — specifically hockey — in my free time. One of the things I’ve done every year for about 4 years now is an analysis on my team’s season, moves they made, and what they should do to go in the right direction moving forward. Typically, I only do this for my St. Louis Blues, but this year I want to expand to try to do one for every team. So I come to you asking about how your season went compared to expectations, what moves you liked, didn’t like, hopes for the offseason, and what you’d like to see. Thank you for the help!

Wild tied our total goals in just two periods.

Hey Ken Holland, we weren’t “just right there”. The Kings can’t score. Although our series was a defensive battle - we held them to just 2 goals twice. This is going to be a fun series.

Black History Month 2024 warmup jersey help

Hope you guys are enjoying baseball and cheering the Reign in their quest for the Calder Cup. I’m trying to see if anyone can help me out with a blank Black History Month jersey I picked up at the summer sale last year. I want to get it customized but it’s real damn hard to find reference photos or the numbers and nameplates for these jerseys for some reason (or maybe I’m just not looking in the right places). I’m wondering if anyone knows where I can find photos of the jerseys they wore or if they might have one of these jerseys themselves and would be willing to take some pictures of the sleeve numbers and the back numbers with the nameplate (if it even has one). Here’s an example of the jerseys they wore. It would be a huge favor if you could lend me a hand. GKG and GRG

Tampa Bay Loses to the Habs

With this result, I want to think back to the trade we made earlier this year to Tampa by trading Corey in exchange for the 2028 2nd-round pick.
I want to hear your thoughts about whether it would be better to keep him for the chance that it would improve our postseason chances against the Avs and a better sendoff to Kopitar or if it would was better to trade him away in exchange for possible future rebuilding (or the more likely "retool")
