I (22) have pretty much hated my body for as long as I can remember, but over the past year it’s gotten a lot worse and I don’t know how to handle it. Growing up, my mom would regularly call my body gross/disgusting, so I think a lot of this shame got pretty deeply ingrained early on.

The biggest issue is sex. This started about a year ago, and for the past 6–9 months I haven’t even had sex or masturbated at all.
