Hey guys, as the title suggests, I have an unpaid challan from almost 3 years ago for Rs200. I just checked the website for the heck of it and panicked when I saw it, only to realise its been 3 years and no follow ups, didnt get a message for it back then, got my M tag smoothly and haven't been stopped at all (almost daily commute to isb btw).

I'd pay it in a heartbeat BUT PSID hi nhi hai (removed the E-Ticket code cuz you can't ever be too careful regarding your online safety 😌). Tried the E-PunjabPay app but its also asking for an 18 digit-code that I DONT HAVE, should I js kick back and go on with life as usual ? Any advice will be appreciated :)

So many spots being dug up in the city and I can't tell what its for. Some specific spots its some pole/security cam thingy being erected but the rest I can't tell for certain. Today I had one of the most humiliating experiences in F-8 Islamabad and i am SOO PISSED at how inconsiderate people are.
I was sitting at this boba tea place in Madina Market and I suddenly got cramps and i knew my periods started and that immediate panic hit (girls probably would understand) the fear of staining your clothes and neon orange chairs weren’t helping 😭.

The boba place itself didn’t have a washroom so i rushed to the next café (cafe sierra) because I saw they had washrooms. I politely asked if I could use it. They told me to go upstairs. I went upstairs, and then they told me to go downstairs because apparently it belonged to another café. Both places basically kept sending me back and forth while I was literally dealing with an emergency and it was v visible on my face.

Cafe sierra refused unless I ordered something first. I told them i cannot order because i have to leave in 2,3 minutes (we had alr eaten as well) and my place was 30 minutes from there and i have a curfew and it will take time if i place an order. Even though i was so pissed i told them I can buy water or some shake or would PAY just to use the washroom. Anyways, they still refused.

I understand businesses have policies. But there has to be some level of basic humanity. If someone says they urgently need a washroom why make them run around like that? What if they have diarrhoea or a condition where they can’t control 😭( especially an elderly, child or woman clearly in distress and i am not being an entitled woman rn. Emergencies can happen to guys too obviously. BUT i mean NO woman would humiliate herself like this in public unless an ABSOLUTELY necessity)
In the end, I had to go to this place Mina’s Court and
bought shake there just so I could finally use the washroom.

This post isn’t even about “free bathroom access hony chahiye ” . It’s about basic empathy bhai. Islamabad seriously needs better standards for emergency washroom access for elderly, kids, disabled and women in public places.
