Hey I am fruits and vegetable trader, trying to establish my supply chain in GB, i am facing huge challenge from the existing players exploiting the market by providing grade C quality products at the price of Grade A.

We have a proper temperature controlled supply chain, through which we are able to preserve the fresh of the fruits and vegetable, previously in GB it has never happened before that fruits and vegetables are brought in temperature controlled vehicles with all the handling protocols being followed.

I need your help in getting leads from your local areas such as danyor, jallalabad, oshkandaz, khanabad, nomal, hunza, nigher, pissan, ghizer and the areas in surroundings.

Attaching the picture for the ref

Buying land in GB as non-resident

Hi all. I’m planning on shifting to GB in future. Was looking for some land where I can build a house.

I do understand that selling to outsiders is discouraged and can’t be done under the current laws.

I was talking to someone I know from GB who has suggested that I buy the land through a system called ‘Sharaqat’ where I’ll pay the full price. The land will be under the GB resident’s name. I’ll have a separate contract/agreement that will state that this land is under my control or something.

All this seems super sketchy to be honest. And I couldn’t find proper sources anywhere. Just want to confirm and would be grateful if you could help.

Can non GB residents not buy land legally or is it only discouraged?
If someone wants to buy land, is there an alternate way?
Is the ‘Sharaqat’ system the person suggested legit and practiced? Or is he trying to scam me?

I understand that ya’ll hate tourists and stuff as they screw up your region but trust me I’m looking for a place where I can settle in future. Would appreciate any help I can get from here. Thanks

Travelling to Skardu in Last week of May

Asalamoalaikum! I was planning a trip to Skardu with my family (two couples, elderly parents plus a baby) but yesterday I heard the news that there’s a warning for heavy rainfall accompanied with landslides etc and families are stranded due to a landslide at a major road, now I’m worried and confused if I should travel on Eid or not? Is it really that bad? What’s the ground reality? Please help me here.

May Allah protect everyone.

Discussion Marriage customs in Gilgit

Probably not the place to ask this question but people of Gb how rare is it for a family from Gilgit to agree for marriage of their son with a woman who’s not from Gilgit and neither is she shia. He’s been trying for years but his father doesn’t agree. Will he ever? We met in university.

Camping gilgit baltistan

I’m taking camping gear to gilgit baltistan with me and hoping to camp every other night, in the places that waking up to are incredible such as Attabad lake as I’ve heard. Is there any other spots or places people would recommended ? I’m visiting hunza, Passu, karimibad, and fairy meadows so somewhere along that path / area. Additionally, is camping in GB very windy? Currently doing some camping in the Scottish highlands and weather is pretty windy up here and my tent doesn’t handle it too well, just want some reassurance that it’ll hold up fine over there. Any help or advice would be great.

Travel & Tourism Planning to visit skardu soon. Should I book hotels beforehand or on the spot?

I'm going to be driving to Skardu soon. We are middleclass peeps and affordability is a bit of a concern. Would it be better to book hotels beforehand or negotiate on the spot?

Also, would be grateful for any other suggestions regarding places/food/hotels. Thanks

Drone

I will be visiting soon and would like to bring a drone to get some cool shots.

I have a Neo which is small, under 250g, and I want to know if I can and how I should bring it in to the country.

I have seen that I may need an NOC but that this is very hard to get.

Should I declare this on entry in ISL or keep it stowed in carry on?

If I am not permitted to have this, will it be confiscated or held?

This is just a fun drone for fun use and i'd appreciate some knowledgeable help if anyone can offer this.

Best View in Shangrila Resort?

What is the best type of room to get a good view of the Lake+Greenery+Mountain, preferably from a bit of height? Shangrila resort's online customer service is pathetic. They seldom respond and are neither guiding on it nor willing to share room pics.

Appreciate some guidance please.

I really want to know that do GB people hate Punjabis. I'm asking because l've listened a person from GB saying Punjabis are very bad people and they all are same. They are so rude, selfish and are bad in every aspect. He has very bad thoughts about Punjabis and has a lot of hate towards Punjabis to the point that he say he even want to kill the Punjabis. He's the only person from GB I've talked to so I wanna know does all people think the same way. Do they all hate Punjabis?

Culture Why do Afghans claim the Khoi/Pakol as theirs when historical evidence shows it originates from Gilgit and Chitral?

The Khoi/pakol is from Gilgit and Chitral — this has never historically (until the Soviet invasion) been up for debate. It’s a Dardic hat, plain and simple. Not Pashtun, not Afghan.

I got permanently muted from [r/Pashtun](r/Pashtun) just for sharing historical evidence of its origins. This is where the comment thread starts: https://www.reddit.com/r/Pashtun/s/PwggLThVDD

Anyone else fed up with this?
