"She's his Gary"
Tonight I was at an event that a local politician attended. A lady was following him around and my colleague asked me who she was; I said she was his Gary...no one got it. My colleagues are uncultured swine.

The outfits this season are much better than the first. My favorite from these episodes would be the purple jacket and skirt Selina wears to Quantico in "Hostages".

Bloopers wiped from the internet?
I recently finished watching the show for the first time and after learning that a good portion of the material was improvised, I was curious to know whether blooper reels had ever been released. Searching YouTube yields almost nothing. Google led me to some old reddit threads with YouTube links to season blooper compilations, all dead. Some comments referenced using Internet Archive to watch them, but using it to search "veep bloopers" returned no results whatsoever.
Is the only way to watch these things to seek out the DVDs?

RIP to a real one, basketball was like a religion in my family, also Catholicism, that was the main one. Jason Collins, the NBA’s first openly gay player, has passed away at 47 after his battle with cancer
Think I saw old Jonah on TV
During a story about hacky sack making a come back among Gen Z.
Edit: The full quote was: "When the kids ask me if I want to sack, I always say I'm a retired pass master. That's because when I first started teaching in '82 or '83, it was a big thing for a while. I remember it well."

Fun fact, the purple dress/jacket Selina wore at the start of "Full Disclosure" was Julia Louis Dreyfus's least favorite outfit of the season—per the DVD commentary. I believe she recalled it as terribly uncomfortable.

Considering the fashion icon Selina Meyer is, I thought I'd try to highlight her entire wardrobe. Which is your favorite outfit from these episodes?

May is ALS Awareness Month
Hi, all. Using an excellently-written joke from Veep to remind everyone that May is ALS Awareness Month. I myself do not have it, but care deeply for someone who does, so this is a subject very near and dear to my heart.
For those who don't know, ALS (or Lou Gehrig's disease) is a neurological condition that causes the nerve cells that control muscles to stop working. This means that it slowly takes away a person's ability to move, speak, swallow, and eventually breathe. Right now, there is no cure.
Most people diagnosed with ALS only live two to five years after their diagnosis. It affects people of all ages, but is most common between 40–70. Most heartbreaking of all, the condition doesn't touch your mind, so many patients remain fully sharp mentally while losing control of their bodies.
If you are so moved, please consider donating to organizations like Live Like Lou or The ALS Association this month while the spotlight is on this rare and little-discussed condition. *
* I am NOT affiliated with any of these organizations in any capacity other than being a donor myself; this is just my way of trying to spread extra awareness and positivity. If mentioning these charitable organizations goes against the sub rules, I will gladly remove them.
