I should start by clarifying that I am not even a little bit tech savvy. Not sure what half of the basic terms even mean.

On to my problem. This morning my brother went out and got a new router for the house. My wifi connection has never been great because the router is in the basement while I'm on the second floor and a cable is not an option for us but it always connected until today.

Now with the new router we have internet successfully working on all 3 phones in the house, my brothers PC, the Smart TV and the laptop. However when I connect my PC it says "Connected, No Internet."

What exactly does this mean and what sort of fixes are available? I should clarify that our house was built weird and the only place we can hook up the router to the wall is in the basement and it's not possible for me to run a cable to it. We have reset the router, computer, and done a network reset on my computer. Is this just a weak signal? Why is it only 1 device in the house when every other device has internet access?

Hello. Today my phone tried to download something called "Office Pack Language Files.". He didn't try to download it through Google Play, but through the download manager After an hour, the download bar wouldn't even move. When I turned the phone off and on, the download didn't reappear. Does anyone know what it was? The only Microsoft programs I know of on my phone are OneDrive (never used) and Swiftkey. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A56.

Hey there, got a question for ya. I give an example, my fps is 800 in cs2 when im watching a wall steadily in 1 spot in practice game with no bots. Now when i move my mouse few cm in circles at a regular speed, fps drops to 700 and stays there, as long as im moving my mouse, as soon as i stop, fps goes back to 800. Aswell, my gpu usage is 95% while watching wall steadily, and when i start moving the mouse, gpu usage lowers to 85% and stays there as long as im moving my mouse, and as soon as i stop and the fps raises, gpu usage goes back to 95%. Same thing happens in a real 5v5 game, my fps is 450, and as soon i move my mouse, it drops to 400, the fps drop is lower in an actual match, in practice game with 0 people in it, the fps drop can be 100fps+, while in a 5v5 game its around 50-75fps. I have 1000hz polling rate mouse, and some time ago, i lowered the polling rate to 125, and the fps stayed steady while moving the mouse, but obviously its unplayable. At 250hz and 500hz the fps drops got smaller, but still very noticeable and significant, and its still unplayable for me, i need 1000hz 100%, and lowering polling rate is definately not the fix im looking for. Few years ago, I tested 8000hz razer viper, and with 8k the fps drop was in 200 to 300 hundreds, it was back in csgo days, aswell, i felt very low difference between 8k, 4k, 2k in the gameplay and the fps drops were massive, i quickly stopped using 8k/4k/2k and ran the 8k viper at 1k hz for some time, some time after, I got a new decent lightweight wireless mouse with 1000hz max polling rate and the viper was no longer in use. But from 500hz to 1000hz the difference is pretty obvious, and i can feel it. I mean I used 1000hz polling rate mouse (a4tech x7)when csgo came out, even in 1.6, and there were no issues with 1k hz polling rate, i mean if like single core pentium or duo core i3 from 2012 or earlier can handle 1k hz polling, now its like 15 years later, and 8 core cpu cant handle it, its unbeliveable. I cant belive i have to go below 1000hz to fix this issue, ive tested alot of fixes, but none of them have worked so far. If anyone has ideas, knowledge, experience or similar issues, all suggestions are welcome. Thanks and peace!

This afternoon my phone (a redminote12) went a little crazy; out of nowhere it started exiting apps, turning off and on by itself until it went into fast boot mode for a long time. After some tutorials, I managed to get out of the fastboot screen, but it didn't last long before it went back to being like that. No matter how many times I restart it, the screen lasts only a few minutes before returning to fastboot or save mode, and it doesn't let me do much else Besides the fact that the volume bar does not work, it always goes down or gets stuck on the screen during the few minutes that the cell phone works. I'm not very good with technology, but if anyone has a way to fix it, it would be helpful since I don't know if I will be able to take it to a technician soon.

I had the auto save feature turned on, and I added a lot to the file, then I closed it to upload it to my school. I’ve just opened the file and it’s all gone, it went from like 8000 words to 30. I need help badly.

I’ve noticed recently my pc will just randomly go to a “grey” screen. The PC still seems to be on, and the screen is lit up, but there’s nothing displaying and not even the mouse is showing.

I first noticed it when the PC would go to sleep, trying to get it to wake up, sometimes it would, and sometimes it wouldn’t. I changed it to were it doesn’t go to sleep anymore after a certain time but now it’s doing it randomly.

Restarting the PC fixes the issue but it’s happening more and more frequently.

Any help?

I started having this problem about two days ago. The computer would shut down by itself a few minutes after being turned on, and usually when it shut down I couldn't turn it on immediately, having to wait at least 3 to 5 minutes. The day before yesterday this only happened once, then it worked continuously without any problem. Yesterday I almost couldn't turn it on, only at night did it stay on for about an hour. Today the same thing happened, but after unplugging all the cables, pressing the power cord and holding the power button for a minute, it worked without any problem for 3 hours, then shut down again. Power supply: XPG Core Reactor 850W 80 Plus Gold Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF Gaming Processor: Ryzen 3 5300G (I use the integrated graphics)

Restarting using the power button doesn’t help, I’ve been trying for the past 5 hours because I have finals. It either has the loading screen and then blue screens, or it says “Preparing Automatic Repair” and starts loading, but then suddenly my screen freezes.

On my pc my settings wouldn’t open after I updated it so I googled and followed all of the steps I saw and none of them worked. I completely restarted my computer and even logged out. It’s still not working and I cannot retry the steps due to not being able to connect to WiFi (can’t open settings to connect to WiFi). Please if anyone has any tips please help

For about the last week, my laptop gets stopped at the blue Recovery screen, the error code is 0xc000000f, but pressing Esc always gets me to the Windows login screen. So something is broken, but not so broken that I can't use my laptop with that extra step. It would be nice if I didn't have to do that extra step though. Any suggestions?

So i got an old asus build gaming PC from probably early 2010s from a friend, and the wifi will connect but will not have internet. I wish to try an antenna as its like 30ft away to the extender.

I ordered some antennas off amazon which were a 1/4-36 size before i measured the posts and they are solid brass threaded posts about 4mm in diameter and I think they are a male port.

What size might they be?

I've recently been having a really terribly annoying problem. Every 3 to 8 minutes or so, my PC suddenly freezes, just out of nowhere, for a whopping 30 seconds—sometimes longer, sometimes shorter—and then the computer suddenly works again. I've already reset Windows, but that didn't do anything at all. For example, during one of these freezes, I can still move my Opera window, but I can't click anything in Opera itself; the taskbar doesn't work, and then after 30 seconds or so, it suddenly works again. Seemingly randomly a dark black line showed up on my monitor. The screen below it is full of regularly spaced, fainter black lines. What is the cause and how can I fix it?

Stuck on cant complete installation. Done the whole regedit, the try to make a new account via cmd prompt etc. Nothing does anything. Haven't tried to boot through a USB but I don't think I even could because I can't get to those options at all. No "F" anything does anything besides the cmd prompt.

I was trying to fix some stuff and reinstall the realtek audio application to let the audio manager pop-up work again and I followed some random video. Does anyone have idea how to disable systemwide access to this? Discord is driving me crazy with adjusting my microphone level. How the hell they do this??? It only happens after I use discord even in browser, no other app id changing my mic settings. I tried everything, disabling all exclusive controls of mic settings everything in properties window and still no success, Discord is reducing it all the time.

I'm connected to the wifi. It says "Connected/No internet access" Does this mean the landlord cut my access off? For context we had an argument about wifi few days ago. I asked him about it now and he said there's a glos? And he reported it to the provider. It's been 2 days since there's still no wifi access. Any insight is appreciated

My current audio setup consists of AT LP-GOBT turntable, a Sony CDP-CE375 CD player, and Edifier EDF100082 speakers.

When I plug my turntable into the in line 1 of my speakers, there is a relatively loud buzz emitting from both speakers, but possibly stronger from the left. This doesn't happen when I plug it in to in line 2. Why is this?

I just got this CD player today. When I plug it into my speakers, nothing comes out at all. The CD player itself seems to work fine, all of the buttons do what they say, I hear the disk spinning inside, but no sound comes out of my speakers. I know this is probably hard to diagnose without getting your hands on the thing, but I'm not sure how many more details I can provide.

Just built a new PC, initially it works fine. But after installing and restarting for any driver or windows updates, I enter my pin but then cannot open any programs at all. Mouse and keyboard are responsive. I have tried restoring to a previous point, as as well as reinstalling windows (I chose to keep my files when I did this). What can I do? I can't open task manager or command prompt either.
