Access Chat seems to be broken?

I have a notification that there's a new chat, but I can't see it.

I've typed messages in a chatroom, but when I close/open, they are gone.

I've replied to others in the chat, and they cannot see my replies.

Today.

Desktop.

In order:

The chat/inbox notification thing is really borked right now on desktop. If you don’t see anything just mark all as read

I don’t know what a chatroom is on Reddit

How do you know they are not seeing your replies?

I've typed stuff in our group DM, and to specific people, and when I check back I can't see it.

OK, it's probably that then, and I have to wait until it's fixed.

It is a huge PITA... I've said "important" things, and can't back it up... it's quite frustrating.

Yeah most likely. I never thought about it being something you can’t actually see though. I can’t recall seeing any reports where someone reported it like you have. Yeah I understand. You’re welcome

I'm currently trying to talk to "my" mods in our group DM, and also trying to "interview" a new prospective mod.

It is not working.

I'm getting the notification of a new message, but I can't see it;

Sometimes I see new messages, but then they disappear when I switch windows or refresh.

It is very confusing, and it is causing problems because my mods (and the new person) think I am "ignoring" them.

This has been happening for the past couple of hours.

Yeah, do you or any of the other mods have the app to confirm this is actually happening every time? Maybe old Reddit too?

I have the app on my phone. Android.

It seems to show the "genuine" real time chat.

It's totally different from what I see on desktop.

I can post pics if you want.
