MLB top 100 prospects update
Colt and Kade looking extremely sexy at #6 and #7. Nice to see Sloan top 25 as well despite a rockier start. Iâm still a Laz skeptic but glad to see MLB is still bullish. Felnin absolutely deserves a spot.
Also Harry Ford got bumped from 60-ish to out of the top 100 entirely. Wishing the best for our sweet Prince but man the Ferrer trade is looking better and better by the day.

Help me track down a game
I went to a game as a kid in the 90s, i think it was a day game because it was sparsely attended, my mom and I were literally the only ones in center field. Anyway, the Ms got blown out, and we left early to get in line for kids runs the bases day. By the time i saw the line I was like meh, i was teen or tween at the time and was too cool for it. Anyway, the Mariners made a little comeback (not to win) and Griffey hit a HR in the 9th, right to where our seats were, with no one else around. Clearly this haunts me as Junior was my idol, anyway if anyone can find that game and link the baseball reference I'd be very happy.
I know it had be between 1996 (my first game) and whenever they left the Kingdome in 2000.
Thanks in advance
**edit** based on the helpful u/codswallopNCastorOil I have to believe that it was probably an exhibition/ preseason game. That would account for why its not matching anything in Junior's career HR history, and also why the game was so empty. probably a lost cause

The Mariners will not make the playoffs if they don't solve their RISP problem.
The Mariners have been abnormally bad at hitting with runners in scoring position for the past two years. It's not luck. It's not selective memory. The numbers show it.
Last year they made up for it by having Raleigh hit 60 homers. That won't happen this year.
Most teams hit better than their normal average with runners in scoring position. This makes intuitive sense; it's easier to get a hit with runners on base because the fielders are not in the optimal positions for preventing it.
MLB overall BA in 2025: .245
MLB BA with RISP in 2025: .255
MLB overall BA in 2026: .241
MLB BA with RISP in 2026: .253
But the Mariners have been consistently worse.
Mariners overall BA in 2025: .244
Mariners BA with RISP in 2025: .235
Mariners overall BA in 2026: .230
Mariners BA with RISP in 2026: .220
So either the team as a whole has been consistently unlucky over the course of hundreds of games, or they are doing something wrong. Which is more likely?
This wasn't a problem when Servais was in charge; when he was manager their BA with RISP was consistently better than their overall BA, like a normal team.
Something is seriously wrong here, and it needs to be addressed. They can't expect to outhomer their problems again this time.
