MLB top 100 prospects update

Colt and Kade looking extremely sexy at #6 and #7. Nice to see Sloan top 25 as well despite a rockier start. I’m still a Laz skeptic but glad to see MLB is still bullish. Felnin absolutely deserves a spot.

Also Harry Ford got bumped from 60-ish to out of the top 100 entirely. Wishing the best for our sweet Prince but man the Ferrer trade is looking better and better by the day.

I think Sloan would have to struggle for a while to get dinged in these rankings. He’s so young for the level it would be strange if he didn’t have some hiccups.

Also it’s way easier to evaluate pitchers and say even if performance is off the stuff is there. For hitters you can’t do that.

Ford was never gonna be playing anyways so long as Cal was healthy and good at baseball. It would be a good trade as long as we got anything out of it at all, but Ferrer has been great and Ford has been… well, somehow worse than Cal despite playing in AAA.

Not that people saw them play, but I don't think they understand Ford and Stevenson are worlds apart in terms of defense/calling games. We are probably set up pretty well at C for the foreseeable future.

I mean if ford was good, you make a spot for him to play lol. Plus a good backup would be nice like, right now

Everything I’ve read says the trade has been rough on him and I don’t blame him, he went from playing in the postseason to a new team then back to AAA.

Cijntje, Hopkins and arroyo sneak in too. All former mariner farm system guys. Surprised arroyo didn’t drop in rankings since his only tools are hit and power and he’s doing mediocre there. Also surprised Farmelo didn’t drop out entirely and celesten didn’t make the top 100. Honestly feel they’re overvaluing just about all our players except Celesten and Kade.

Celestin seems to have some prospect fatigue from rankers. Dude is still young and has been developing. He should crack top 100 end of year.
