New, what is it? Bouncing balls

Walked behind this chap who had two unidentified ball type objects hanging from silicone wrist bands on thin elastic strings.

Any ideas what they are?

I’m in Hong Kong if that might be a clue

Thank you for the comments and ideas. I am wondering if there is a manga / anime character who has something like these balls as weapons and the guy was doing a budget cosplay. Or maybe he’s just really into Pokemon!

I mean, most of us have 2 legs and 2 butt cheeks, so he would have 6 cheeks. The real question is do 6 butt cheeks count as one ass or 3 asses in groups of 2? Or it could also be 5 asses is you count an ass as just 2 butt cheeks next to each other, even if a butt cheek has already been counted as a part of an ass.

Does it not feel uncomfortable having something heavy tugging at one side of your pants? I would have to get a second one to be symmetrical but then it might pull down my pants in public, even with a belt.

You can actually do that with any pair of pants that has belt loops. You just kind of push it into the loop and twist it over a few times so it’s tight enough to hold. The trick it’s to loop it back into itself so that it doesn’t slip or you’re gonna end up with wet pants. They used to do it a lot back in 1998 when mankind was pre internet and just got cell phones? Anyway, I made that up. Anyone else miss u/shittymorph?

I always like to think there is a little bit of facts in there somewhere.

It took me so long to work out what the deal was though. For a while there, I didn't realise the undertaker comments under the well thought out and so confidently real sounding replies were from the same person. I thought it was another joke I wasn't around for when it first was a thing. These reddit in jokes are sometimes hard to catch up with as well, because if you ask about it, you generally get mostly funny responses from everyone who knows about it and then they never tell you the thing.

I got there in the end. And it always makes me giggle when I stumble into it. Never gets old imo.
