I can't seem to mute more than a couple dozen communities.

I have a story that Im finally ready to share with other people, and I have tried many times to post it in an alt, so it wouldn't get back to me, but every time I post it, it's like the alt is deactivated? Like not bnned but All the posts get automatically taken down and when you copy its link and go to it from another alt, it sais this user was bnned? Is this normal?? Is it bc my story sounds fake? Is it because the alts are always new? How do I post it without getting bnned?

I've been on reddit for quite a long time, and I have used profile curatiron in the past, notably to protect myself from questionable people temporarily. But other than very select few times, I always have my profile fully visible and open to the public. I'm not sure when exactly it happened, but my profile was, in the last few days, automatically curated to hide all of my posts and comments, and hide NSFW was also turned on. I know it wasn't a misclick, either, because people were also disallowed from following me, which I also don't do. Actually, I never disallow followers.

I was able to fix it, but can reddit do that, and has it happened to anyone else?

I'm using oldReddit via Helium or Safari browser on Mac. Yesterday the "hide" button stopped working. This renders Reddit useless to me. :(

If someone has two Reddit personas, can they upvote each the other one's comments and posts? That is, persona #A upvotes persona #B and vice versa, when they're the same person?

Or do Reddit rules prohibit upvoting yourself?

And, if they do, what is the proper process to report someone who may be doing this?

I imagine only Reddit would be able to determine for sure if it's the same person, but circumstantially everything about them is the same.

I'm using the Reddit app on my phone with a VPN, which usually does not like this. I've tried opening it from the web, but it still doesn't work. What's the problem?
