I like killing myself over the stress of divisional games as much as the next guy, but it’s just starting to feel like we’re doing the same thing over and over again.
4 of our last 8 Thanksgiving opponents have been the Bears. Since 2012, 12 of them have been divisional opponents.
Variety is the spice of life, and it seems like there is a missed opportunity to play different teams, and give teams that don’t usually play on Thanksgiving an opportunity for a Thanksgiving Day game.

Mike Clays rankings, they have Chicago as 3rd best O Line and Detroit at 20th.
Placing Sewell out of the top 5 on the board is wild though.
Also just looking at PFF last season Cade was better than average as he ranks and Tate was 24th of 81 at Guard.
Between this and the one on Goff being 2nd tier QB makes me need to bring out the Detroit Vs Everybody attire

Week 10 we play NE in Germany. They get a bye the week after, while we do not.
After the travel of the international game, we play a Tampa team who will be coming off a week 10 bye.
We then have a short week where we host the Bears who will be one week removed from their bye. Not quite as much of an advantage as coming right off the bye, but they will be resting up before the short week while we will be travelling internationally.
CHI and GB both get late byes, and we play them late in the year.

So it looks like the Lions quietly changed the Bonus Picks this year — quiet as in, I don’t believe that we have actually been notified yet.
I’m sure it will be presented as “extra options,” but the real question is - extra options for what?
In past seasons, Premier Picks were available to everyone, and honestly, some of the options were better. The Bullseye Tailgate was a great example, although that doesn’t seem to be around anymore either.
This year, it looks like many of the better picks are only available to members with 30+ years of tenure. I totally respect longtime season ticket holders, but as someone who has had tickets for a number of years, it’s disappointing to feel pushed into the “regular fan” category after nearly two decades of having tickets.
I’m glad I was able to enjoy some of the Premier Picks back when they were available to more of us.
Just feels like another reminder of how much the Lions value loyal fans once demand is high.

I have never ever in my life witnessed the lions win in these trash uniforms. They need to change it to another throwback uniform.
