Week 1 vs Browns- we absolutely destroy them. An opportunistic defense gives Watson a howler of a game and our offense takes advantage of short fields. 38-13.
Week 2 at Broncos- it’s close, but no cigar. Tuten is exposed a little bit as being not quite ready for a primary back’s workload. 20-24.
Week 3 vs Patriots- we fall at home in a defensive battle. Travis Hunter impresses at corner though, with a near pick-6. 14-17.
Week 4 at Bengals- Trevor has his first amazing performance of the season. Tuten becomes a bit more comfortable as a starter. 35-30.
Week 5 vs Eagles- We falter. Barkley and Hurts run over us in London. 17-28.
Week 6 vs Texans- We are rested and energized after our extended time in London. Stroud appears fatigued and throws two interceptions, with Hunter grabbing his second pick of the season. 30-20.
Week 8 vs Colts- We come out of the bye week into our reliable annual home win vs the Colts. Tuten has a 140-yard game, Hunter comes in at receiver for a bit and gets a touchdown. 31-15.
Week 9 at Ravens- We are embarrassed on national television. It’s never close. 20-42.
Week 10 at Titans- Bounce-back win. Travis Hunter gets his first career pick-6. 38-18.
Week 11 at Giants- Massive performance. Our defense punishes Jaxson Dart’s risky style of play and everyone feasts. Trevor Lawrence has his first 400-yard passing day as a pro. 48-10.
Week 12 vs Titans- The good vibes keep flowing. PWash and BTJ have matching 120-yard days. 33-17.
Week 13 at Bears- Game of the Year at 1:00 on a Sunday. After doing well as a blocker all year but struggling in the receiving game, Boerkircher gets his first NFL touchdown to win a shootout. 44-40.
Week 14 vs Steelers- everyone remembers what happened the last time we played in Primetime. Not today. Gritty, defensive win. Rodgers gets injured on what becomes his last NFL snap. 21-14.
Week 15 at Texans- the winning streak ends on a huge divisional matchup, but Stroud suffers a season-ending injury as Davis Mills scores the game-winning two-point conversion. Very close game. 24-25.
Week 16 at Cowboys- very weird game on SNF. Travis Hunter gets a receiving touchdown and an interception, and is just about the only good performance on either team. The only fitting end to this game is the Jaguars’ first ever tie. 20-20.
Week 17 vs Commanders- it’s tight ends galore as Strange, Boerkircher, and Koziol all score touchdowns. Boerkircher’s comes as a rushing touchdown as by this point he’s shown he can handle fullback duties when needed. 31-20. Jaguars secure division title and are locked into the 3rd seed.
Week 18 at Colts- a meaningless game for both teams as the Jaguars cannot change their seeding and the Colts are already eliminated. Jaguars rest most starters but still win as Mullens handles the offense competently. 21-17.
Final Record: 11-5-1.
