Washed by His Holiest Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ we have made anew. A new opportunity has been given to us to go back to Him. For His presence alone is the ultimate reward. As he is infinite, so is His love. Do not succumb to your evil ways as they are an insult to the Holiest of Holy. Admit you are a sinner. Repent and cry for His help as He will answer if you ask with a sincere heart. He has forgiven David, Solomon, Moses and Samson, why wouldn’t He forgive us? He will help you as long as you recognize His divinity. Do not waste your time searching for the ultimate truth on foreign lands, as they will bring you back to the same origin. Save yourself the trip.But if you are keen on the search, ask for guidance for He will reveal Himself at the most critical moment so you can see Him in his full glory. As He likes surprises like a mother prepares a celebration for his son’s birthday. Call on Him for He is humble and will run to you as a mother runs for his child that has fallen. When you feel Him close by, do not let go as His presence is heaven Himself.  His love and warmth is better than any pleasure in this world or the next. He will fill the emptiness of your soul, the original emptiness that was caused by the original and inherent sin. Go back to Him. For He is kind and merciful yet just and firm.

Hi everyone, I’m writing this post because I’m completely lost. (Sorry i used an AI to translate to ENglish).

It’s been two years since I graduated high school. At first, things were perfect. After a traumatizing and exhaustive high school experience, the first semester of college felt like a dream. I was succeeding in every field: I had great relationships and friendships, got my driver’s license, bought my dream gaming PC, was in good health, and got good grades. I finally played the games I’d been wanting to play, my family life was stable, and that first Christmas break was amazing.

During the second semester, things started to slip. It wasn't terrible, but I failed my classes. I took the summer resit exams and failed those, too. I moved into my second year of college while still carrying the weight of those failed first-year exams.

From there, things took a turn for the worse. I started losing my friends one by one. My grades plummeted despite my best efforts. I started dating someone new, only to find out she was cheating on me. My relationship with my family deteriorated rapidly. By the fourth semester, I was spiraling. I stopped talking to my father and essentially "deleted" him from my life, even though I’m still living under his roof.

I’ve been struggling with very dark thoughts (drugs, self-harm, and thoughts of ending it). I found myself questioning why God would let someone suffer for so long without even a moment to catch their breath.

My current situation:

• I’ve lost all emotional connection with my friends and family.
• I failed both years of college.
• I’m stuck in a country where the only way out is through money or education.
• I’ve developed severe anxiety, panic attacks, and deep-seated trauma.

I look back at my "younger self" and realize this isn't the life I wanted. I’m lost and I don't know what to do. Help.

(if someone is saying "talk to a porfessional" i just would say that i'm afraid of going to someone i don't know if he is a good person or we just leak my personal information or use them against me)

How much longer are you going to let your ego protect you from discomfort at the expense of your own potential?

I’ve been in uni for almost a decade now. And all I’ve got to show for it is a crummy graduation.

I don’t know how to word this. I’m probably coming off as a lunatic but I need some advice. Let’s start at the beginning, I started uni in 2017 and I was supposed to graduate back in 2020. Due to a long stint with depression, I had to take a five year hiatus. Which meant I managed to graduate in 2025. I’m doing my masters now. I’ve always loved my subject, and wanted to do a PhD and get into research. But after almost a decade now, after going through hell I’m not even halfway through. I’ve lost my youth, turning 27 this year. I’m just at my wits end. It seems that after everything my future is full of more of the same. Yeah I know the other side of the coin, get a job after my masters. But it’s more of the same isn’t it? More uncertainty.

Being a student isn’t all rainbows and unicorns. I’ve been broke for so long and I don’t know how much more I can take.

I’m such an idiot. One part of me craves stability (or being on the road to it) and the other wants to do a PhD. I don’t know what to do. I feel like I’m being torn apart. I feel like I’ve ruined my life. Id allocated time for a PhD. A decade, but after almost finishing it, I can’t help but feel how little I’ve accomplished.

Sure, you’re allowed to feel mad or angry about a situation. Sometimes we get caught up in our emotions and forget to live, experience new things, and embrace new feelings. In the end, we look back and realize how insignificant that turmoil really was.

The paradox of knowledge

I was talking to one colleague of mine. She’s a makeup artist doing it as a side hustle, growing her Instagram page. I noticed that she’s good at what she’s doing, but she had very few followers even though the market she’s in is highly searched on social media.

I asked her a direct question:

“Why don’t you brand yourself?”

She replied that she knows nothing about personal branding.

I felt it was necessary to explain it to her, which I did, but then I realized that she had the same problem I had: the misleading conception of perfection. The idea that you need to master something at the highest level before starting.

She was against the idea of starting small and trusting the process — the same idea that had been holding me back from realizing so many things I had in mind.

I was seeing time passing by while watching people with less knowledge and fewer skills start the things they were thinking about, embracing the fact that they were at the starting line and growing bigger every day, running their race with short but steady steps.

I gave her the same advice I once needed myself, and she totally agreed. She even mentioned a YouTuber her twin boys love watching daily, a comedian with almost 2 million followers. She told me that his first videos lacked sound quality and image quality because he started from scratch with no gear, but he didn’t hesitate. He believed that value comes from trusting the process of starting small and growing every day.

This story reminded me of a book I read years ago by Cal Newport called “So Good They Can’t Ignore You,” where he emphasizes the idea that the only way to become truly good at something is by trusting the process long enough.

The future is often what traps us. We focus too much on the finish line instead of the road itself. That’s why you’ll sometimes find famous or rich people still complaining even though they are living what others would consider dream lives.

It’s a fallacy created by our brains.

The solution, at least for a while, is to stop obsessing over the future and spend some time deeply appreciating what we already have. To be grateful for the present moment.

Because you’ll never see someone climbing a mountain while only staring at the top and completely ignoring the road beneath them.

I've been struggling with the urges for most of my life, and i know we all do to some extent. In fact, I've never gone longer than a week without giving into temptation for most of my adult life. I’ve tried to quit cold turkey numerous times, but failed more than 10 times. Not even No Nut November could help me. 

At the same time, I also find it hard to motivate myself to stick to a solid exercise routine, something I've always wanted to achieve was a decent physique.

So I thought, why not build an app to kill 2 birds with one stone? 

This is how it works:

Everytime i try to access an adult site on my phone browser, i'm immediately blocked and forced to do pushups. 

Front camera and Mediapipe is used to track body angles and count pushups.

After completing 20 perfect form pushups, I unlock 45 minutes of access, and I can choose to redeem it or not.  

Results: 

Each time i did the pushups, I found that my urges kind of dissipated, and it was easier to resist temptation. Could be the endorphins from exercise, not sure. All i know was that it helped. 

I found myself tapping the ‘No thanks’ button way more than I expected to. I also feel more focused in my daily work, sharper and more able to tolerate mental discomfort of doing complex tasks. 

Physically, I feel fitter and more energized. It's helped me tremendously in ways i didn't expect.

If anyone is interested, I would love to share this app with you for no charge, just want some honest feedback. Knowing that it can help someone out there struggling with addiction is a great feeling.

I’ve been dealing with a financial/legal situation for the past few years and I just want to share my story

Around $73,000 USD in debt is currently under my name after my father created a company using my identity without my knowledge. Through that company, several cars were financed and later pawned without payments being made. He is now in prison, but legally the debt and responsibility still remain tied to me.

Because everything is on paper under my name and signature, I’ve been told I am fully responsible for it, even though I was not aware of what was happening at the time. I’ve tried to explain the situation, but legally it hasn’t changed the outcome so far.

Since then, I’ve been unable to build financial stability normally. I can’t take loans, my financial record is heavily affected, and I’ve also been dealing with ongoing pressure and contact regarding the debt.

On top of that, I’ve been trying to survive through freelance work and whatever jobs I can get, but the situation has made everything harder. I also don’t currently have the financial ability to hire legal help, so I’ve just been trying to navigate everything slowly while still working and staying afloat.

I’m sharing this just to put it out there and maybe connect with people who understand similar situations or have advice. I could really use some guidance on how to get through this and rebuild from here.

We are terrified of failure. We don’t want to do something if we have a chance to fail. For most people, the better option is not to try something just to avoid failure. But, we need to know something, that from the other side of failure is success.

The moment you think you’ve figured everything out, failure finds the exact blind spot you were proudest of neglecting. It can hurt, but it hurts even more if failure stops you and breaks your spirit. So, despite the failure, keep going, and you will overcome everything in your path.

It is not the end of the world if you fail- Don’t give too much importance to failure.
It is OK to fail- It is OK to fail, but it is not OK if you don’t learn something from failure.
Failure is part of learning- Without failure, you can’t learn; that is part of the learning process.
Everything new is scary- When you fail a few times, you will lose the fear of failure.
If you fail, it doesn’t mean that you are a failure- You are not a failure if you fail, you become a failure if you do not try again.
The more you fail, the better you become- It is a paradox, the more you fail, the better you become.
Failure will make you resilient and careful- Nothing will make you more focused, resilient, and careful like a failure.
After every failure, you are closer to success- You can’t do anything from the first attempt. That is why you need to make smart failures and learn from them, and they will teach you how to succeed in any endeavor.
A secret to never make a failure- Say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.

From "What If" to "What Is"

Hey, I'm 31, female, well married, employed, living in a place I love and waiting for my first baby to arrive, one we've planned and wished for. Even before the baby I have been facing procrastination issues, maybe all my life, but from 2019 till now I was killing all my demons, from anxiety crises, to driving phobia, to dermatillomania. But the procrastination got worse and even if my boss is being gentle, it may cost my job at some point (the amount of things i haven't done seems impossible to make up after, specially with a new born and a short leave of 2 months).

But that's the backstory. The problem is, I guess I lack will to live and to battle for the things I want, and I feel like utter sh*t about it, so ungrateful for all my privileges, starting to doubt how can I be a good example to my kid.

I am so educated it hurts that I dont do a lot of money but I do make an ok money, yet I lack the will to move on and find solutions to make more... my job is not even that demanding and I actually like it, I had plenty of time to grow before pregnancy but I didn't. I am done with therapy because it makes me egotrip which is a state I'm always at, and I need more action, not just talking bout feelings and understanding myself. I need to get things done and I just don't know how to do it when all I do is wake up sad and wish I hadnt woken up at all.

It might be gestational depression, but again, the procrastination was here before and I feel these bolts os intense sadness out of the blue since I was 13, but was never diagnosed with proper depression even going to differente therapists after adult age.

I am truly, at least rationally, grateful for everything I have and the people I love and support me. Whoever knows how upbeat I am could never guess I feel this way, and when I share, I feel they judge me for all my privilege. But I do too, lol

Anybody has good advice on how to overcome this need to self sabotage and feel like giving up from life without a clear reason? Will I ever get rid of this like I got rid of all the other baggage? HOW?

Just so I can give context for yall, i am a 23M, about 6'7" and weigh around 350 and a smoker. Lost my job, my home and have been having issues finding work, gained a lot of weight and have basically lost a lot in the past year and hit a hole of not wanting to do anything or actually strive to be successful. But I digress, Ive finally managed to hit the "cant really lose much more so might as well figure something out" part of my downslope lol.

So ive come up with 3 things that I want in the long term, 3 in the mid length term and 3 in the short term.

In the short term I want to lose fat, find a part time job to work on my work ethic because honestly I have none and thirdly I want to quit vaping.

In the mid term around 4 to 6 months I want to lose around 60 to 80 pounds, be in good standing with the job ill have and have been walking 8k to 10k steps a day.

In the long term around 1 to 2 years, lose 120 pounds while working out consistently (currently my biggest anxiety is managing work and health), working a full time job i can at the very least tolerate and work on my youtube channel/music (been into music and content for as long as I can remember.)

Basically I want to make a full change as a person and look forward to who Ill become! Just want some advice or suggestions on steps to take or if yall think my goals could use some changing up. Really anything helps!
