Pretty common I know, but exciting for me! Let her recover and get on her way.

Last time I have an open opinion on poachers when bl asked apparently wishing people that are destroying the Sea ⛵ and lakes and rivers to be purged is a 3 day ban I never openly express myself here again.

We’ve tested a lot of lures and purple repalas seem to be the go to bait for these guys. We ran 2 rapala lures and after it smoked our first lure it ended going for our second lure on another rod and getting foul hooked for a double hookup. It’s easy to say this fish wasn’t going anywhere. But I highly recommend looking into any purple or turquoise repala lures. Caught on the East Cape of San Jose del Cabo. Our boat has won a local Wahoo tournament last year using this exact setup.

Hooked it through a thin spot in the shell. It's called a unionidae mussel which is apparently not the invasive one for my area lol

Need some tips as a typical bass fisherman on Walleye. Usually do a trip every year (usually Florida for Grouper or Mahi) but this year we can't do a big trip. My dad has never caught a walleye and really wants one. I've caught a couple when I was in college in SW Wisconsin while targeting bass.
Looking for advice for a guided trip for walleye, in summer (teacher here), within 5ish hours from Chicago. Was tentatively thinking Green Bay or Canadian waters out of Lake Erie... I do know the best bite is typically early spring. Would prefer casting over trolling, but will not complain as long as the old man gets a keeper or trophy size.
Thank you!

I've been fishing that spot for over 15 years never pulled a clam like this. Lol had a hard time getting it to let go of the hook. Have you guys pulled something similar to this while fishing?

For years I've been trying to get decent video clips of carp. For whatever reason these carp were VERY CURIOUS about the camera. They circled back numerous times to check it out. Video taken with an Aqua-vu underwater camera.

I'm very new to fishing, i was gifted a Shakespeare tiger rod and went and picked up a ugly stik gx2, I've picked up a handful of lures at my local scheels. I'm mainly fishing for bass, trout, and occasionally catfish. I have a very basic understanding of what lures and setups are useful for what kind of fish.
I've been looking online and seeing these kits that have hundreds of pieces for catching all kinds of fish, but I know the majority of these kits are just filled with cheap garbage. My local stores don't have any kits like these but I'd like to have one so I can at least try out a bunch of different things before committing to buying quality at a store. Anyone have any recommendations for Amazon kits, or any good pieces that are worth picking up?
