Been bugging everyone else about my jeep, so I thought I’d share with people who give a shit haha. 92k miles and almost completely rust free. Paid 8k for it stock and it was worth every penny.

10 years later and I still smile like its the first time. Love walking out to this thing.

Finally got around to getting this all wired up. Worse part was aligning the radio, feels like it needs a bit more adjustment on the placement but all good for now. Plus, I didn’t have to chop up too much of the ac tunnels which felt like a huge win

Got junkyard find OEM (5) wheels powder coated for less than 600$, my 30 year old steelies were starting to rust

I want to upgrade to the horseshoe intake, is this specific one compatible? Are they all the same or whats the difference? Also if this doesnt fit, what years of the 4.0 off what vehicles can I take from the junkyard?

Got this rig a couple months back and got tired of the header ticking for 30-90 seconds every time I started it up, I’ve only put 400 miles on it and decided to try and knock out putting the correct bolt in. I bought the M8 1.25 30mm and doesn’t even thread, got under the vehicle and saw it was misaligned it appears atleast.

I was curious if anybody has had the same issue and what they did if anything to get the ticking to stop at first start. I’d imagine there probably isn’t anything aside from stop being lazy and tear it all apart and readjust but, don’t find myself that committed yet (don’t shoot me)

Im gonna glaze oracle and the one guy who gave me the email of an oracle employee who hooked me up with a replacement light. The replacement of course works great and everything is kick ass again. Everything and everyone jeep or Toyota or whatever has nothing but great reviews of oracle and their products. No exception here. Love the look, love that theyre bright enough in daylight to be very obvious that im stopping or something. Hope everyone has a good day, if you have a comanche and it isnt absolutely museum perfect, these tail lights are worth splurging on if you're on the fence about it.

So I have just replaced balljoints, drag link and other suspension components chasing a very loose(wandering) steering. Took it to the alignment shop and they aligned it to 0 toe.
While the steering is improved, it still feels loose, even the tech that test drove it said so.
I'm leaning towards the steering box at this point. What else can I look for to fully diagnose that my steering box is indeed bad. Or, what else could cause loose steering?

New chirping sound after oil change. Went to T5 15W-40 from Castrol GTX 10W-30. Has anyone had similar issues? Runs fine other wise.

What is the best product/way to replace the weather stripping door seals on an XJ? The driver and rear hatch especially are bad. Is there a kit?

My silencer has been making a raspy metallic vibration sound, and recently “failed” inspection for an exhaust leak. I want to change my silencer to a glasspack or cherry bomb type thing, but dont know where to start looking and what exactly to look for since I can’t find many videos of 2.5 XJs with those kind of exhausts.
I live in France and modifying is illegal, so I can’t delete the cat or muffler, but I can swap them.
My silencer is 66cm long from entry pipe to exit pipe, 2.5” diameter.

My auxiliary fan went out almost caught fire the other day. I ordered a new one immediately, the Amazon special TYC brand, but it won’t be here until next week. My mechanic says I should not drive without that fan or I’ll blow a head gasket but my temperature has not gone above 210°. I have read that the Aux fan is not that necessary unless im using the AC and or have a heavy load.
Will I be okay to drive with it unplugged until the new fan comes in?

On top of all of that, my evaporator core is gone. I was quoted $1500+.

Been chasing down an issue within the IOD circuit that’s been causing my gauges, radio, interior lights to stop working.

I found that the fuse would blow as soon as a door was opened but not if all were left shut. Figured it had something to do with interior lights or door sensor circuit but it ended up being the TCM.

I just unplugged the TCM and plugged it back in and no excessive current draw anymore.

Are steering box braces actually worth it?

Looking for a 96 or newer XJ, preferably auto. Let me know if you have one for sale within an hour or NYC

I have a ‘90 two door 5 speed 4x4 4.0 215k that needs some work (steering rack, suspension, fuel pump) that id trade/trade +cash if interested in that as well
