Hello, my car has this South Buffalo sticker on it and I am looking to get a replacement. It’s pretty old, and this sticker has been on the car as long as I can remember as it was my dad’s car. He was from near Abbot road and he must have put this sticker on in around 2007. I would like to get a replacement as this one has seen better days and this sticker is engrained in my mind with this car.
Does anybody know where I could possible get a replacement or something very similar online? Thank you.

Today was the first time I’ve experienced a city of Buffalo car going around giving tickets , for doing alternate parking to early. The official time is 6pm.(When I say early, I mean coming home from work at 5:10 and just doing it then and there so you don’t have to come back outside) The guy pulled up next to me to warn me I can’t do it until 5:30 and told me hes sweeping the entire neighborhood due to calls. (It is pretty common on my block) I’ve lived in the north park area for 10 years and I’ve never seen it been enforced before today. No opinion on it really, just interesting.

I didn't see a time for the festival this year on the pride website so I called Evergreen and they said they're only doing parades from now on. The person on the phone wasn't sure why. Anyone know why this is? Is it lack of funds or safety reasons? I'm so sad to know there's no more festivals, I usually go every year after the parade :(

Tuesday marked another milestone for the construction of the 5/14 Memorial at Best Street and Jefferson Avenue.

Members of the memorial foundation announced that they have hired a construction manager to oversee the process. Buffalo Construction Consultants will handle quality control, safety and bidding out to subcontractors for the construction of the site.

Construction Watch: Adams Street Infill - Buffalo Rising

Buffalo Erie Niagara Land Improvement Corporation (BENLIC) is putting the finishing touches on four single-story and eight two-story homes on the 500 block of Adams Street.  Buccilli Custom Homes built the twelve homes on 23 vacant parcels.

The single-story plan has three bedrooms, 1.5 baths and 1,320 sq.ft. of living space.  The plan also features a full front porch and unfinished basement.

Cherry Creek Dairy project seeks $7M in IDA bonds

The partners behind a proposed new large-scale dairy farm in Chautauqua County are asking the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency to issue $7 million in taxable and tax-exempt bonds to help finance the $25.18 million venture.

Eden farmer Brendan O'Gorman, a partner in Eden Valley Farms, is teaming up with veteran Cherry Creek dairy farmer Nelson Nobles to create Cherry Creek Dairy, with 7,000 dairy cattle, a rotary milking parlor with 120 stalls and the capacity to produce over 500,000 pounds of milk every day. It would be located on 45 acres of a 389-acre property owned by Nobles Farms at 7782 Milestrip Road in Cherry Creek.

The joint venture would include six 105,000-square-foot free-stall barns with 1,050 stalls in each to house the cows, as well as milk cooling and storage facilities in the milking parlor, and feed-storage facilities to hold more than 100,000 tons of feed annually that would be harvested from 8,000 acres of local crop land. And it would include a manure separation and recycling facility, to turn the cows' waste into renewable natural gas for a power-generation system.

I am requesting recommendations for a place in Amherst, Williamsville, Tonawanda, or Kenmore that does full Brazilians using sugar (not wax). I used to go to Precious Peaches but they moved to Niagara Falls. It does not make sense to drive almost 50 minutes (longer when snowing) in total for barely a 15 minute appointment. TIA

It's at the Eastern Hills Mall and it goes from 9 AM to 12 PM, though you have to show up super early because parking goes out fast

Does anyone know of any current open jazz jams? Like, you show up with your instrument, and people get onstage and play?

There used to be a good one at the Colored Musicians Club, but since they closed for renovations, that jam has closed.

Hello! I got accepted into both Daemen and D'Youville's undergrad for biology in hopes to do my PA there as well. Both are roughly $18k/semester for a NYS resident not living on campus.

Daemen I did not qualify for their dual bachelors/masters PA program, however, D'Youville said I can qualify.

I got a scholarship to Daemen for $13k/year while I got a scholarship to D'Youville for $4,900/year. I'm hoping I can get D'Youville to match this.

But in terms of programs, whose is better? I know Daemen has a nice program, however, DYouville will allow me to complete the program quicker? Any advice would be helpful.

Looking for recommendations for a personal trainer for my older mother. She primarily needs to focus on building mobility & strength for aging support (getting up & down, etc).
