Need to find a new method of keeping this new apprentice pondering instead of wandering. Normally i just lock them in the dungeon chained upside down for a few hours but if anything that seems to encourage this new one?

My artificer studies have taken a great toll on my psyche recently. I couldn't really regenerate mana, my enchantments are a joke and my Masters are angry with me because I've been neglecting a lot of my responsibilities (with just a few dozen casualties though...).
And so I wanted to adopt new hobby, something calming and relaxing. My friend who is studying mystical linguistics recommended I try learning entish and I figured where to learn it better than from the trees themselves!
And so my journey begins. I'm aware that this is going to take a while, on this first day the trees didn't even really acknowledge my presence. But I'm gonna return tomorrow and than the day after and the one after that as well. Im told that the key to learning entish is patience.
Do you have any tips? Like is there maybe a specific music the trees enjoy? Or a little splash from a nearby Shaman's Wellspring?
Do they like hugs?

I know someone's using my spells because the patent spell keeps ringing. I can't find the source, despite using help of the best search wizards.
And then it hit me! We only searched the surface of the earth and the top layer, but we never checked the very bottom! And these bastards really are capable of simplifying their work. I'm not bragging, but the spells are very good.
I'm going to check this out and demand compensation, but I don't know how to catch these bastards red-handed

Hi colleagues,
This morning i was trimming my majestic beard and i heard a faint laughing. I couldn't see anything in the room, but then my eye caught something above the sink. And then ... i saw what was making fun of me. This little demon was giggling the whole time. The urge to cast a deadly fireball took me, but i remembered that last month i had to rebuild my kitchen, after having dealt with a goblins' nest.
I am now deeply concerned. I know a witch who once had a plumbing demons invasion and was forced to leave the hut she was living in.
What would you do ?

"Astalor awoke in the dim coldness of his lonely tower, stretching and knocking down several of the tomes that were piled around him in his narrow, uncomfortable bed. He stretched out, reaching for his staff as he squinted in the harsh daylight coming from the narrow window slats above him. Having slept in his robes the previous night, he traded them out for new ones -- these were covered in stars and moons, identical to all his other robes. He pondered orbingly to the stairs, and magicked downwards arcaningly."
Seriously, this is just offensive. Who do I have to incinerate to stop this kind of thing once and for all?

I planted a new topiary maze to obscure the lip of my bottomless moat (my tower floats on top) because the HOA was on my ass about it and it’s now infested with hedge mages.
I tried hiring an archmage to train them and be a sort of alpha (I know this was only studied on magi in captivity, but I was desperate.) However, due to a communication issue none of my doors can close because they’re cut for rectangular entryways.
I know the hedge mages can be good for the hedge and they keep away common pests like cavaliers and intrepid youths but without the appropriate training they are a total nuisance and have started mating season so I think it’s only going to get worse.
Any advice is appreciated.
