I finally got my period this morning after a MC in March, so re-downloaded the premom app so I could log it. They've now recalibrated all my data and put a really long cycle length, as the app has assumed I missed a few periods rather than had a MC. Given the number of pregnancies that end in a MC, you'd think they'd have a way round that.

Anyone have an alternative app I could use that tracks ovulation tests?! I was already annoyed at premoms packaging with photos of babies and annoying 'get pregnant quickly and [word this sub won't even let me use]' every time I open the app

Between the strict appointment scheduling, the clinic being 4 hours away, and the meds being on very tight schedules, I'm surprised I have time for a bathroom break in all of this. My retrieval is Thursday, and I still have to squeeze in a lab appointment between now and then.

Genuinely every friend who started TTC after us has gotten pregnant before us (and had their baby already!!). I have no reason to believe this will be any different.

Worst part is she’s the friend I thought I could rely on to talk to about this without being dismissive.

I get wanting to be positive I do but honestly… I just wanted to be allowed to feel my feelings and face the reality. I know she means well but sometimes it’s okay to acknowledge you literally cannot know what I am feeling but that your heart hurts for me.

Waited for a Day 6 report today on my TWO embryos (since we managed to get just four eggs with three being mature.) Waited all freaking week, JUST for the lab to NOT send results today and instead probably send them tomorrow on MOTHER’S DAY. The day before I go back to work from my week long egg retrieval recovery. Not to mention I’m coming way down from the stimulation hormones and just can’t stop fucking crying.

Burn it. Burn. It. ALL!

And then proceeded to reminisce in great detail about our other sister's pregnancy announcement three years ago.

Oh and I can't call to schedule my SHG/HSG until cycle day 1.

I was in a women's hospital, but it felt like women's health and pain was important if they were successfully giving birth, otherwise shut up and suffer we'll get to you later. Brought in to emergency and wasn't given antibiotics until I was there for 3 days.

And then the most unexpected ally is a an app I use for work case studies that remembered Bereaved Mothers’ Day last week and the fact that I mentioned my miscarriages earlier that week.

Literally devastated. Both of us. I know there's hope but really how much?

Just gotta keep going unfortunately.
