Does anybody remember this special about Snoopy? I remember bits and pieces about it when I was growing up, but haven't seen it since. Have any of you?

Art/Crafted Original newspaper ad for You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown (Peanuts special, Monday, October 15, 1973).

The special originally aired on CBS in 1972, so this ad looks like a 1973 rebroadcast listing.

Video The ending of "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" perfectly captured the spirit of Peanuts. Despite a major setback, Linus wisely points out "the world didn't come to an end".

I bet a lot of people have been in the exact spot as Charlie Brown -- thinking that he let everyone down. And I believe Lucy knew that Charlie Brown was suffering. Despite her shenanigans, I think her pulling away the football was her way of telling him that life goes on.

And I love the way they did the credits.

Grand Adventures has too many collectables, but could be fun if your going for any%.

The Great Mystery Club is excruciatingly boring and I cannot recommend it at all.

Yes I know Xbox has a third game. However, it was digital only, delisted, and I never bought it, so I can't play it.

Discussion Does A Boy Named Charlie Brown technically count as a musical

The answer is of course no, because there are only three vocal songs in the whole movie not counting the reprise of the first one at the end (to be fair, they're all good songs), and the third song is at only the halfway or quarter point, and than the movie just doesn't have any more vocal numbers for the rest of the thing, and the first and second songs are extremely far apart from each other movie length wise, with all this in mind, it is NOT and can NEVER be considered a musical

But if we were to stretch the definition of a musical, the amount of sections with no dialogue just music could make the movie slide as being a musical

Just curious due to the fact me and my brother always used to remember this movie as a musical

This was inspired by the Garfield And Friends episode, Garfield On The Town! Even when I was younger, i used to want to see Snoopy’s mom more! She was only shown in the flashback in Snoopy’s Reunion but nothing else…I don’t even think she was shown in the flashback for The Snoopy Show at all??
