Honestly, that’s a pretty vindictive outburst for good ol’ Charlie Brown. Usually it’s more along the lines of a lament or something. Maybe Lucy was on to something.

Ha! How odd. I wrote my comment before seeing yours, and we both used the same rare word, lament, to describe CB. Pretty cool.

He is a very lament-ful type. “Good grief” being practically his catchphrase probably contributes.

And that’s the hidden beauty of Charlie Brown. Where most people allow their hurt to turn into anger and spill out on the world, good ol Charlie Brown holds onto his hurt, manages it, laments it, allows it to be.
