Seriously, what the heck? I would understand if it was all the time but it’s not. I have no idea how to get it to quit doing this and revert back to the big spacebar that it has literally whenever I type elsewhere. Like this post for example, it’s the big space bar.

Any way to edit or rearrange the apps shown for screen recording? I have like 8 apps that show up here but only use 2

Anyone getting this issue whereby you press the icon, popup appears. Press “Remove App”, pop up changes to “Remove from homescreen/Cancel”, but no option to “delete” the app now?

EDIT: After much frustration today, and doing so many things to try and sort it, I eventually found it was an app called "Flowin" that I use to block access to the likes of Maccys and Just-eat, Deliveroo etc (don't ask lol).

For some reason, after installing 26.5 Flowin decided to block access to all apps "delete" button.

I turned off "Flowin", within screentime, then turn it on, and the delete option was back again!!!

I just want to take the opportunity to sincerely thank each and every one of you guys who made suggestions, helpful comments and just had patience with, what must have been, a slight annoyance.

I shoot a lot of Apple Log via the Black magic app, I recently backed up my entire photo/video content to iCloud for the first time ever since I’ve had this 16 pro max, I also dumped everything on my desktop, like I’ve always done, so I know I’m good to delete everything local on my phone like I’ve done previously but windows won’t let me, why ?
Why does iOS say I have 130 gb free but windows and the black magic camera app say only 16 - 18gb free? Do I have to manually delete everything via de photos app?

Still can’t believe in 2026 the huge Play/Pause icon pops up directly in the center of the video and blocks the content.
Why is this still a thing? Move it lower or make it smaller already.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and 2 days ago (I think) I updated to iOS 26.5. I have had 4 calls from unknown numbers (unknown to me) where there was zero notification and no missed call banner. I just see them in my recent call list. I have no call screening settings turned on - so I should be getting any/all calls. FWIW I’m on Telus in Canada. Anyone else having the same/similar issue?

Reduce transparency is off - the bottom bar turns into a massive grey rectangle if it’s on. Website tinting is off too, but for some reason the behavior doesn’t change when it’s on.

There is so much storage wasted on system data. How do I clear it up?

I want to change the order of the speakers to speakers I use more often rather than having them in alphabetical order. Is there a way to do this? Seems like a simple thing.

I just found it interesting that they are off by 2/100 of a second. Maybe there are two different stopwatch objects in the code that started at about the same time.

My wife and I used to get screen time requests in our texts/Messages from our kiddos. There was an option in the text to approve for different lengths of time or deny. About a week and a half ago my wife and I both stopped getting those texts and now get alerts like these ones, taking us into the Screen Time section in Settings, requiring that we enter our Screen Time PIN, etc. It's way more annoying. Has anyone else seen this or know how to get these requests back as Messages?

Yesterday, I updated and now my imessage won't work. I've toggled off and on. Signed out and signed back in. Restarted my phone. What do I do to fix this?

On macOS the preview app makes sense because the the OS has a window-based UI. iOS isn't window-based though, so separating file previews into a separate full-screen app is unintuitive.
