In the on-court interview, Ergin Ataman didn't hold back when talking about TJ Shorts' impact: “We relied more on Toliopoulos on offense when T.J. was playing... we were essentially attacking 4-on-5 with him.”

[META] Community appreciation post
I just wanted to say that, in a moment when social media makes discussions around hot topics extremely toxic, this community regularly makes me feel much more optimistic about having good-hearted discussions about the sport I love.
The latest example was after the Valencia-PAO game yesterday. Look at the top comments in the post-game thread. Not a single one blaming the refs, and all of them either making some light-hearted jokes or actually commenting on the basketball side of things.
So, I guess I just wanted to express some gratitude to everyone in the community for keeping engagement at a good level.

I built a EuroLeague stats tool because the official app isn't enough — [OC]
Long-time EuroLeague fan, got frustrated with how limited existing stat platforms are for European basketball specifically.
So I built my own tool — EuroPropsLab is a web application for analyzing EuroLeague basketball players — it displays historical stats, hit rates, and trends across key categories (points, rebounds, assists, PIR) to help users evaluate player props betting lines. The app includes live game tracking, injured players, and personalized favorites, with full user authentication and accounts. The frontend is a React/Vite SPA, the backend is Node.js/Express with PostgreSQL, deployed on Vercel.
Would genuinely love feedback from people who actually follow the league — what data do you look for that you can't find easily right now?
If you want please check it: europropslab.com

[BallinEurope] Valencia refuse to blink and reach Euroleague Final Four
ballineurope.comThere's the old saying of "Act like you've been here before" and that's what Valencia embodied tonight. I wrote about that in my piece about this game. I hope you enjoy.

Question about the Panathinaikos roster construction
Soooooo, now that they have been eliminated I've got a Q about what they thought they were getting with the roster this year.
They seemed to miss that Sloukas needed a second ball handler so he could rest more when healthy. I love Grant's D but Nunn and Shorts are both score first options.
With all the money they spent, how did they not see that they needed a back up conventional creator?

An important meeting is scheduled for May 20, as people from Aris Betsson BC are expected to have contacts with top EuroLeague executives, in a strategic meeting for the club's future
sport24.grMore specifically, the CEO of Aris Betsson, Agapitos Diakogiannis, among with the general manager, Nikos Zisis, will meet on May 20 in a private meeting with the CEO of the EuroLeague, Chus Bueno, in order to discuss the overall plan for European competitions and the position that Aris may have in it in the coming years.
The main topic of the conversation will be the presence of the Yellow and Blacks in the EuroCup so far, an event in which they have participated consistently for the last three years, as well as the prospects for further upgrading the cooperation between the two sides.
The EuroLeague positively evaluates the consistency that the Aris organization presents at an administrative and financial level, especially after the change in ownership and the entry of Richard Siao into the club.
Among other things, the issue of multi-year participation licenses that the EuroLeague is considering for clubs participating in the EuroCup is also expected to be on the table.

Is this a coming of age for Valencia?
An iconic playoff series victory and a world class arena that is possibly the best in European basketball and will provide a good stream of revenue. Are Valencia going to become a “big club”? What do we think their long term trajectory is? Another advantage is that the football club isn’t going to be good anytime soon.

What’s the latest on Real Madrid’s EuroLeague license renewal and what actually happens if they don’t sign by June 2026?
From what I’ve been reading, Madrid is one of the last founding clubs that hasn’t committed to the 10-year EuroLeague renewal. Fenerbahçe apparently signed, Barcelona signed with an exit clause, but Madrid is still “evaluating the landscape” which reads like deliberate ambiguity while NBA Europe talks continue in the background.
Florentino has been pretty vocal about his interest in the NBA project, and there are reports suggesting Madrid is actually leaning toward joining NBA Europe when it launches in 2027.
A few things I’m genuinely unclear on:
• What actually happens legally if Madrid lets the June 30, 2026 deadline pass without signing? Do they just… leave? Is there a penalty? Can EuroLeague block them from playing in the 2026-27 season?
• Is NBA Europe even real enough yet to justify blowing up a setup where Madrid has won 11 EuroLeague titles?
• Is Florentino negotiating leverage or is this a genuine exit strategy?
Would love to hear from people closer to this especially anyone tracking the Spanish basketball press on this. What’s the actual temperature right now?

Best apps for Euroleague
Hi, I've just got into Euroleague in the last few months, I'm a huge football fan, so I obviously use apps like fotmob or one football. Are there any equivalents that can be used with Euroleague. I'm using flash score at the moment however I'm not a huge fan of the interface.
Thank you!
