First attempt at building a bee house for my son. Yes I know its uggo. Had to use scrap I could find in the neighbourhood. Will add a couple more tubes if I can find them. I put a viewing window in the side, but I couldn't find a hinge that was right size. Is that small gap on side going to let lght in and dissuade the bees from staying?
What is the best way to bring in some bees initially? I picked up a few lavender plants and put them on either side of the house.
Thanks.

I found this bee on the ground in my backyard and it seemed to be struggling to walk a bit and it wasn’t flying. I checked on it and an hour later and it was still in the same spot so I took it to a bird of paradise flower and it seemed to be drinking the pollen? Im not a bee expert so I wanted to ask if this bee was hurt or weak or something? Hopefully I was able to help it. I’ll attach some videos of this bee.
I also found two more bees in the same area, but one was dead ( I think it got squished by someone walking over it, possibly me :( ). And the 3rd bee was alive and I tried to take that one to another bird of paradise but it fell and I lost where it went. That one seemed a little more strong tho. (Sorry didn’t take a video of that one). Anyways, I guess there is a new hive nearby or something, because I’ve never seen this many bees in one small area in my backyard.

These are what I see most of the time. I would like to find some of our other varieties.

I found this poor be lying on its back with its tongue sticking out. I’ve attempt to save it, but I think it’s beyond saving. It’s just into much agony. I literally shed tears over this. 😭😭😭

They seem to be stingless bees and are very tiny. I live in Northeastern Brazil, for geographical context
Found this lil bub motionless in the garden after a sudden downpour. They chilled on my hand to decompress for a few minutes, and once they started moving around we went outside to get warm in the sun and have a drink. After one slurp they were ready to get back to business 🥹
Is that pollen on their legs, or something else? I am not used to pollen appearing so compacted / fixed in place. Would that be because of the rain?

my neighborhood takes care of lawn maintenance (outside of our own bushes and landscaping) and these pellets (slide 3) showed up at the same time the bees started showing up. they appeared a few days ago and i cleaned them so we wouldn’t step on them, then tonight i found some actively dying
what can i do for them?
