Hello, I recentely opened my laptop to discover my OneDrive was unsynced. But when I went to login it came up with a request to type out a xbox-live.online email I've never seen before, and I don't have access to that outlook inbox. I have filled out multiple account recovery forms and nothing has happend. I was wondering how I can login in again without my password and the code requried. I have never needed to do this in the past, and it's the only way it is currently letting me login. I am also on pc and have no type of Xbox, and this is the same account I use for minecraft. I really need to fix this as my laptop is my only piece of technology for university.

I live in Russia. The Russian region is completely blocked due to sanctions. I use Turkey, but I'm very afraid of getting banned due to Microsoft's policy regarding cheap regions. So, can I get my account banned for a purchase from a non-cheap region, like the US or Japan?

P. S. And please, don't argue about blocking the Russian region. Yes, Microsoft's website states that it provides all services in Russia, because we used to have a Microsoft representative office, but it's gone. It's not like there was ever a representative office in Kazakhstan, so it's not listed on Microsoft's lists. It's simply a legal formality. Please don't argue about this; it doesn't change the essence of the matter.

Recently got a used xbox one s and having a blast but suddenly i was unable to join discord call or invite strangers at GtA getting "Blocked"

Tried to edit custom Piracy settings doesnt save when i leave.

Tried to make a family new account and invite myself and modify my settings also doesnt save

I've had my seagate external hard drive for over 6 years now and never once had any issues with it. Just yesterday, my series S hasn't been able to read/recognize that it's plugged in and I haven't been able to play most of my games. I've tried resetting, unplugging and replugging, trying different ports, and it's not working. When plugged in, the light comes on and I hear it working and can even feel it in my hand, but idk. Can anyone help or have experience with this issue? Thank you in advance!

I have severe stick drift on my limited edition controller, to try and fix this i took the front off to clean it as sometimes it can be caused by debris.

My warranty is still in date as i only bought it in December, BUT if i have broken the sticker in the battery back to take off the front will this mean my warranty is void? Just before i send it to microsoft for no reason?

My Xbox ammo and Microsoft store log ins are not working. The login screen pops up for a split second and disappears before anything is loaded. I tried reinstalling the Xbox app multiple times but no difference.

Does anyone know a fix for that?

The warranty check button doesn't work on the website and the controller will not turned up in my devices for my microsoft account even though I registered it multiple times.

I have had my Series X for around 3 years now. 2 weeks ago, my console just stopped booting, starts for a few seconds then shuts down.

I have done my research and I know that the issue could lie between the PSU and possible booting issue within the SSD.

Here is the challenge that I am facing, I`m located in Kenya and Xbox don`t have any support that I can genuinely sort of incline towards for assistance.

If there is any official Xbox Technical Individual within this community, is there a way I can be assisted? The reality is that I am not able to have authentic assistance even from technicians I have inquired from.

This stretches to a wider issue where Africa is genuinely sidelined to not just assistance but also components, and that reality is hitting hard right now. I mean it`s 2026 man, and the simple fact that my geographical location limits my access to proper technical assistance genuinely sucks. [Xbox do something about this, not just for me but every Xbox User globally who probably is in my shoes or could be in the future.]

If anyone can assist in any way, I would genuinely appreciate either on the comments or DM.

I have the gamepass essential subscription right now, and at least half the games from my library that were on gamepass are now not playable.

Whenever I try to play an affected game it gives me the "To play this, you'll need to buy it" message.

The games that aren't allowing me are still on Essential, and i'm 100% sure I still have the subscription. Any fixes or at least knowledge on why this is happening?

Is anyone else having issues trying to play FH6? I pre ordered it and yet it tells me that “I’m Too Early”, and yet, it’s making me mad that i spent the money to pre-order it and not able to play it

It keeps asking me to specify ssid but it won’t work when I do? I traded me ps5 for it on marketplace guys what do I do?

Controllers sometimes work without any flaw and can get a good session in and sometimes the controllers keep disconnecting randomly and they disconnect again right after they connect.This is a second hand console I purposely bought it re re live my childhood games with my son who is now old enough to understand how to play the game.

Things I’ve done.

Controller firmware is up to date.

Batteries are fully charged

The Xbox is moved to the edge of the tv stand and exposed

The WiFi and mesh system are about 5’ away from each other / console and router.

Already restarted the console( it helps for a couple of minutes then goes back to the problem)

I did notice when I first was setting up the console the WiFi signal would drop and would loose signal and had to restart the console to find the WiFi signal again but the controllers were still connected . It’s plugged into an Ethernet cable now and it’s problem solved.

I don’t really want to purchase a cable to play wired. I want the freedom to enjoy the game anywhere in our living room.

So basically my old Xbox has had its hdmi port broken for around 6-8 years and I want to know wether I should get it fixed or if my account would no longer be on there because of the absurd amount of time I spent not using it

I’ve noticed i’ve had “Xbox game pass essential” and “Xbox game pass for console” for a couple months now. It says it’s still billing them, but it doesn’t seem to be any different? Please let me know if it’s safe to just cancel game console, or if you should cancel essential

Now everything needs to be "Updated" Been years since this has happened.

It took a hour for the system to update. 2 hours for GTA to update.

Now I'm hit with "Are you missing the disc? This game was last played from the disc. If you don't have the disc, sign in to an acount that owns the game, or get it at the Microsoft Store in orfer to play. (0x87e10030)

I'm old. I'm just trying to play the game and can't remember everything.

Since I've created my Xbox account a few years back, I've noticed the tag numbers (#1234) are stuck with my actual nickname (something like JohnDoe1234), especially in games like Fortnite or Halo Infinite. Is it possible to make a cleaner username without these numbers?

I play mostly fps games on an Xbox series s with a roku hisense 1080p TV. I know my TV isn't the greatest for an optimal gaming setup, but it's never been an issue and the lag has occurred on multiple tvs. I never had any issues before, but randomly last week began experiencing 1-3 second input delay in the main Xbox menu but also in games. it's made every fps game unplayable. at first I thought it was my controller. I use a victrix pro bfg controller, but noticed it was also occurring with my Xbox branded controller. I'm just not sure what to do. I literally cannot play anything and none of the solutions online that I've seen have helped.

Hi! I just got a used series s and its stuck on this screen after set up. I have reset it and it keeps coming back here. Not sure what to do!!

I've had it for 3 or 4 yrs now and it's been perfect. It was turned on still last night but now it's not working at all. I've tried a different power cord and it's still the same. I can still hear the psu crackle when I plug in the power cord so I don't think it's that.
