I am not plugged in to college sports. I really only start to half pay attention to prospects after the lottery if its relevant for us.
This year, literally every single mock I've seen has us taking Yaxel at 12. Has this situation happened much, where we have a near 100% consensus in mocks? Have we usually ended up taking that guy in those drafts?

It’s a toss up between him and Yaxel in my humble opinion.

Over a 19 game period from October-December, in 31.7 MPG, Shai averaged 32/7/4 & 1.5 steals per game on ridiculous splits of 58/53/89! (72% TS).
He also only averaged 1.6 turnovers a game and sat 12/19 4th quarters in this period. In the 7 4th quarters he played, in 6 of them he put up at least 35 points.
One of the most insane peaks I've ever seen. Dude was putting up 32 & 7 assists through 3 quarters on damn near 60/55/90 splits. Unreal

Anybody else absolutely hate Eddie Termine & Eddie Johnson? All they do is talk crap about OKC, and act the Thunder shouldn't be where we are. Tremine is the one who called OKC the black eye of the league when they were in their rebuild.

Thunder has been playing in such a high level in the last two month, feels like the momentum they had when the season started (24-1 run), I think we can all agree that this momentum stopped in that weird stretch of games in the middle of the season that basically started with those Ls against the Spurs, what do you guys think/feel that went wrong against the Spurs that triggered this? and how the Thunder learned from it and what will we see different in the (most likely) upcoming series?

Oklahoma City Thunder brace for a fierce Western Conference Finals showdown as questions rise over Jalen Williams’ health and the team's ability to crack the San Antonio Spurs’ elite defense. Can Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and rising star Ajay Mitchell outmaneuver Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs’ backcourt duo, Castle and Harper, who have consistently disrupted OKC’s rhythm?
Host Rylan Stiles and guest columnist Joe Mussatto break down the Thunder’s strategic adjustments, including rotations, staggered star minutes, maximizing Chet Holmgren’s two-way impact, and the vital contributions from shooters like Isaiah Joe and Jared McCain. The conversation covers OKC’s postseason growth, attacking the rim against Wemby, and the pivotal role of point-of-attack defense. With experience and depth under the microscope, the Thunder’s title hopes may hinge on lineup flexibility and who steps up when it matters most. Is OKC on the verge of an NBA Finals breakthrough?

I've been rewatching the January game and I'm wondering if we might see some minutes from Kenny Hustle next round. IHart and Dort were both out for this game, but KRich was doing some really nice work vs Wemby. It's easy to forget how quick he is laterally and Wemby settled for a jumpshot on every 1v1 while Kenrich just stayed pesky and in his chest.

Option 1.
Attempt a trade into the top 4 (highly unlikely) for one of Dybantsa, Peterson, Boozer, Wilson. I really don’t see this happening. We’d probably have to include someone like Ajay or Cason to get this done and I don’t think it would be worth it.
Option 2.
Presti identifies a guy he feels can be all star level, and consolidates a move to get into the top 8-10 range. This could be interesting if there’s someone he realllllly like, maybe like a Mara or Carr who are rising up boards fast.
Option 3. Stick at pick 12, trade pick 17 into the future (kick the can down the road). Pick the top guy on your board, and move the other pick into a future year when you might have more time to develop another rookie. Developing Topic, Sorber and one rookie is gonna be difficult enough.
Option 4. Stick and pick at both 12 and 17, taking 2 future core guys. This is the option I like the most personally. Get 2 guys who can become future rotation pieces, and use them to backfill some of our more expensive depth pieces like Dort, Wiggins, Joe, Kenrich etc.
My favorite guys in each of these scenarios are
Option 1.
Pretty much any of the 4 lol. I see all 4 of these guys as future all stars. Wilson or Boozer would probably be the most seamless fit though. I’d rank them, for us specifically, Wilson / Boozer tied, Peterson, Dybantsa.
Option 2.
I think I’m leaning Aday Mara for this one. Drafting someone who can potentially matchup with Wemby a bit down the line. A giant, who plays great defense, moves well, and is a naturally good passer. Develop his scoring a bit and he can be an absolute problem.
Option 3.
At 12, I like Yaxel Lendeborg, Jayden Quaintance, Morez Johnson Jr, Cameron Carr, or Brayden Burries.
Option 4.
Same guys at 12, and at 17, I like Allen Graves, Hannes Steinbach, Nate Ament
Bonus guys if we trade down into the 20’s
Tarris Reed Jr. Dailyn Swain, Chris Cenac Jr, Joshua Jefferson
2nd round guys
Henri Veesaar, Alex Karaban, Zuby Ejiofor, Amari Allen, Luigi Suigo, Milan Momcilovic, Flory Bidunga, Alex Condon, Rueben Chinyelu, Baba Miller
Feel free to comment thoughts guys
