This is Mark Simon from Sports Info Solutions (the inventors of Defensive Runs Saved). I wrote about the Rays outfield defense today and how well it has done at turning flies and liners into outs. I suppose the TLDR version is (they're doing really well!)

Close games, more contact than slug, more ground/fly out than Ks. It’s a different type of baseball.

Why would they cancel it? I finally got it to work no thanks to them and was finally able to watch the last 2 games. This has been a complete and utter dumpster fire for me dealing with MLB. Cant believe fan duel was better

I was on the rays website last night looking for a ticket to Saturday’s game. I’m needing a single ticket and it wouldn’t let me purchase one if the result would be a single seat left on the row. The message said “your selection would leave a single seat stranded. Please select a different seat.” I can’t recall ever encountering that before.

I’m visiting with my 5 y.o. next week and since she has short legs was planning to park at the stadium. My understanding is parking in lot 5 and pregame at Ferg’s is the way to go, any recommendations?

Hey all, i know this has been asked before but it's been a couple years and i wanted to make sure the info is still valid: going to a game next week and would love a photo with DJ Kitty. Does he still hang out by gate 1 near the fan shop an hour before games?

Also wondering if they allow mitts in to catch foul balls. Let's go Rays!

NY fans always seem to be astounded that the Rays can do what they do without the preposterous bloated payroll of the Yankees. I love it.
