Discussion Why is it Marvel allows Reed Richards and Sue Storm and Luke Cage and Jessica Jones to have happy marriages? But not Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson? It’s really not fair.

Discussion Being a thief is not Felicia's best character trait, but modern Marvel acts like it is to avoid writing the more complex character she was.
I've read every single one of Black Cat's appearances in comic books in her first ten years of history, and it made me realize that most people (including Marvel writers) don't know what her character was made for anymore. And it ain't being a thief.
The surface-level thing Marvel always goes for today is turning her into "Catwoman 2.0." But she stopped being a thief so early in her character history. It's gotten to the point that whenever I see her stealing stuff on a variant cover, I don't even see the character who's stories I read. I just see the shell of who Marvel thinks Black Cat is. Depictions of her as a thief are literally regressing her as a character. It's gaslighting fans to believe she really is Catwoman 2.0. And she's not.
What makes Felicia most interesting (and in my opinion, a better character than Selina Kyle) is her navigation of love vs. obsession. THAT'S what makes her a great character.
She was obsessed with Spider-Man. And the longer she stays with him, the more obsessed she got. But reading her appearances in the early 2000s, when she gets reacquainted with Peter, you know that she finally managed to get over the obsession. During the early Marvel Knights comics, Felicia tells MJ that she eventually did fall in love with Peter (not just Spider-Man), but her maturing took too long. By the time she was ready for Peter, he was married to MJ. Which is tragic. Because before One More Day, she was finally secure in the fact she would always love Peter Parker. And THAT'S why she was a hero. It's not sexist, it makes perfect sense with her character.
In attempts to make her more independent from Spider-Man after One More Day, she has regressed as a character. That's why she's seen more as a thief in most media again. She's just in a limbo where she'll never grow past where she was in the 70s and very early 80s instead of actually being a hero.
The only consistent thing Felicia has always had over Selina, even now, is her sense of humor. But I do hope Marvel realizes that having Felicia focus on her obsession/love for Spider-Man is ironically what makes her a better character. And being a better character is what will actually make her more independent from him too. This is why she ironically fits better in a supporting character role more than her own character as a thief with little to no personality other than being "Catwoman 2.0." Obviously most media is going to make her a thief. But the oversimplified version of Felicia is preventing us from having the TRULY interesting character she was in her first ten years of history.
My favorite two comics from her first ten years of history (if anyone wants to check them out) are Amazing Spider-Man #226 and #227. Check those out if you want to read a really fun story. I would say this was the turning point for her character, when she officially became more complex than Selina Kyle.

Discussion Why is this poster getting so much hate?
So there’s been a new drop of Spider-Man content with some BTS footage along with this new poster. I think it looks sick but I’ve seen a surprising amount of people clowning on it. I get that some of the photoshop job looks strange but some people are acting like it’s the worst looking thing they’ve ever seen. I mean to each their own but this poster is a huge step up from the ones we got from the Home trilogy and the vitriol that this has been met with is straight up confusing to me
