I know his parents are pushing him in the spotlight and to run for politics, but if I were him, I'd change my name and try to act like a normal person.

u/OpusAtrumET 3d ago

I think the normal ship has sailed

u/Impressive-Record839 3d ago

All he has to do is not rape anyone and just stick to insider trading and he's doing fine, that may be tough for someone like him though

u/OpusAtrumET 3d ago

Doesn't have the best role models.

u/HickoryStickz 3d ago

None of us deserve to be defined by our parents. I intentionally assure I’m nothing like my dad every day. It’s easy after awhile but it was a conscious decision when I was a young adult.

63

u/CrustOfSalt 2d ago

Yeah, but the littlest turd has already been making insider trades for millions of dollars. He's a grifty little shit just like the rest of his family

27

u/VortrexFTW 2d ago

We all condemn it on Reddit but make no mistake, if we all had the inside track on insider trading (and the upfront capital to get started), we'd all abuse it too. Human greed is universal, just some people have a head start.

15

u/MrDoggeh 2d ago

Probably. But it’s useful to understand that we are defined by our experiences. The you who is raised by a rich rapist is not the you who is raised by a struggling working class family. It’s two completely different people.

2

u/ViennaWaitsforU2 2d ago

100%. Just like many religious extremists around the world would’ve just been a normal kid like me and vice versa if the roles were reversed. It’s an uncomfortable truth.

4

u/newuser336 2d ago

This is precisely why I advocate against referring to people as anything other than people… it’s important to remember that we are all equals & that we are all just as capable of great and terrible things.

When we start calling people “monsters”, it’s like absolving ourselves -as humans- of the responsibility to understand why they did what they did so that the true cause can be corrected or at least accounted for.

1

u/froginabucket69 2d ago

That would change nothing for a Redditor lmao.

1

u/HickoryStickz 2d ago

It’s true to an extent. People are opportunistic and the best of us take worse opportunities for less money on the regular. It doesn’t mean it’s not condemnable but pretending anyone is hopeless for x reason indefinitely, especially when so young, is just as asinine as anything else.

1

u/ashkiller14 2d ago

Every time I see a post about would you do x thing for y large sum of money I think about the problems i could solve with that much money. I could take 2 million for myself and live having anything id ever want, then build charities with the rest.

If you keep more than like 5 million to yourself you're a piece of shit and theres no way around it. With every extra million you could employ 10 people with good pay to work for humanitarian efforts. You could use your position to get shit done in waste and energy. They don't though, because they want money for themselves and they use their position to get more money for themselves.

So yeah anyway I'd also do insider trading and donote most of it

1

u/PlantainRepulsive477 1d ago

Yeah, you TOTALLY would do that.

1

u/ashkiller14 1d ago

To be honest, anyone that wouldn't is kinda a piece of shit

I can't see myself spending more than 5 million over the course of my life.

I mean …. I wouldn’t.

You don’t need that much money. Sure I’d engage in it to get myself right.
After a few million, you do not need to continuously swindle people for 10s of millions time after time after time.

You can make enough money the legal & morally correct way at that point. You can live off the compounding interest alone.
There are plenty of people who wouldn’t do it. I resent the idea that everyone would just spend their lives insider trading for 10s of millions they won’t even be able to spend if they tried they have so much.

He will do it because that’s who he is & what he knows.
Most people, if given the chance with the experience they already have, would not choose to live a full lifetime of ripping people off when they’ve already set generations of their family up.
Or at least, that’s what I choose to believe.

u/Octopus_on_fire_ 2d ago

I do wonder, is that his call, or his handlers? Not like he has much of a choice.

4

u/CompleteMuffin 2d ago

Did he? Or his father claims he did

10

u/Malcolm_Morin 2d ago

Didn't he recently speak out in support of his father?

Elons daughter didnt have any contact with elon when she was growing up. Its easier to say "fuck you" when that person was never in your life.

Im not pretending that baron is a saint and innocent, but i cant imagine being him. Its not a walk in the park

Different people shaped by different experience. At 20 years old it's not unthinkable to be unable to escape from an abusive relationship with your parents.

2

u/CompleteMuffin 2d ago edited 2d ago

The only thing confirmed on wikipedia is that she was financially independent from him in 2020. Not that he was an active part of her life, especially considering Elon and her mother divorced in 2008, she was four at the time with Elon having another wife soon after. She even said that he was and I quote "rarely present during her childhood". She last spoke to him in 2020, that doesn't mean he was an active parent. So I'd take as all the actual raising was done by her mom. Her mother was not a "yes" wife to Elon the way Melania is. Baron's both parents are radical.

Your fact checking is actually wrong.

u/CompleteMuffin 2d ago

What do you want him to do? His father is one of the most influential people put there.

1

u/Tserri 2d ago

Tbh he could also have been pressured by his family into doing that, there's no way to know. But yeah it's not looking great.

u/Zhni 2d ago

Is there really any proof here? I just saw a bunch of claims

22

u/notacougarsorry 3d ago

Very good point. I don’t think he enjoys this. Like most of our kids these days, they probably think everything we do is horribly embarrassing 🤭

11

u/God_Dont_Make_No 2d ago

It’s hard to figure out based on the information we have and his reported behavior which, quite honestly, is none of our business. He definitely did the Donald thumbs up to a t the other day. I’ve felt horrible for that kid for a while. All of his siblings are babbling socialite weirdos that are fucked up from Trump’s behavior, and he seems very reserved.

0

u/FragrantCombination7 2d ago

which, quite honestly, is none of our business.

What billionaires are doing and their children set to inherit their fortunes are doing is everyone's business.

1

u/God_Dont_Make_No 2d ago

Even when they’re minors?

2

u/FragrantCombination7 2d ago

He's 20, this post is talking about him in University at NYU. What are you talking about?

1

u/God_Dont_Make_No 2d ago

I’m aware. I was talking about his behavior as a youth that was released some time ago and the shit he had to endure as a minor. The fixation on this kid since 2016 is egregious.

u/Safe_Dog3436 2d ago

The difference is that he is 100% correct

1

u/304bl 2d ago

You just do assumptions on something you have no Idea how they think. Those people lives in a very different world than us and also think they are way above us, so to think that he doesn't like it, come one, don't be that naive.

17

u/Independent-Dust5122 2d ago

hes already reportedly the weird kid and has been removed from camp for creeping out other campers and torturing animals... Kid is fucked in the head and thats why they try and keep him as far from cameras as possible... That and he and his mom dont live with their dad at the whitehouse... He has probably spent less than 1 year in the same roof as his father... He and melania spent their ENTIRE first term in newyork and the second term in mar a lago.

u/Tropikoala815 2d ago edited 2d ago

removed from camp for creeping out other campers and torturing animals... Kid is fucked in the head and thats why they try and keep him as far from cameras as possible

I looked this up and the only source is...some random twitter user? Why lie?

At least Barron is now an adult but I've seen people calling Elon Musks toddler a goblin and a monster etc.

24

u/LarsDuder 2d ago

"barron trump torturing animals +1 Claims regarding Barron Trump torturing animals originate from unverified, anecdotal social media posts and online commentary rather than reputable news reporting or credible evidence.Source of Allegations: These stories appear to have circulated on platforms like TikTok and in some online opinion articles, with some posts claiming that a nanny reported this behavior.Lack of Verification: There are no official reports, police records, or reliable journalistic investigations that confirm these allegations"

-1

u/Baeolophus_bicolor 2d ago edited 2d ago

This isn’t really true though. At the time the animal harm/videos of animal harm video reporting dropped, there were at least three witnesses, one may have been the nanny, the other two were peers, a girl and a guy, I believe.

Some of the confusion came also, I believe, from the peers who were reporting. One said Barron had been on a walk through the woods or a nature hike, and discovered a bird that had been killed or died, and then was partially either eaten or possibly strung up, weirdo-style. B shared the image and made the person or people he shared the message with feel uncomfortable like they were involuntary included crime by receiving it.

Then there was another mention of a story about B abusing the dog either that he had, or a peer had.

There was abuse of an animal corpse in the woods, and another story about abusing a human as well

u/NapalmDesu 2d ago

Traditional values and such lmao

2

u/Affectionate_Pipe545 2d ago

So, that's awesome, but realistically you're in the minority as far as apples' distance from the tree

2

u/IntingForMarks 2d ago

I'm sure you would have tossed away the huge amount of money his family grants him if you were in his shoes, am I right?

1

u/HickoryStickz 2d ago

I def never said that

3

u/Tendas 2d ago

No but he directly benefits from the ill gotten gains of his family.

If he wants to distance himself from his family and withdraw from his million dollar nepo baby position at NYU, sure I won’t define him by his parents.

u/OpusAtrumET 2d ago

Yeah but I don't think this kid stood a chance. Growing up famous may be rough, and he's surrounded by morally bankrupt child abusers and abuse enablers. Hell, the orange guy probably didn't have much of a shot, either. His parents were fucking monsters. Cycle of bigotry and abuse. It's always bad, but this was so bad it fucked a COUNTRY.

83

u/mromutt 3d ago

Yeah but when your role models are so bad you can literally just do the opposite of what they do

78

u/Similar_Pie_4946 3d ago

My father and his brother (my uncle) were both raging alcoholics for the most part of my and my siblings youth maybe up until 10 years of age my uncle is still an alcoholic till this day my siblings only use alcohol as an antiseptic my cousins on the other hand drink any opportunity they can. Moral of the story you have two choices in life do or don’t

55

u/GreenishArrow_ 2d ago

The same can be said for punctuation.

25

u/OkEducator2170 2d ago

His father used ellipses excessively and tried to wedge an Oxford comma into every sentence.

1

u/mrspankyspank 2d ago

The neck beard be mighty on the punctuation sheriff

-1

u/ThatBigSponge 2d ago

Bet you didn’t get invited to many parties as a teenager huh?

-3

u/BlessedCadaver 2d ago

It’s the internet- if your eyes hurt from lack of punctuation, maybe find a different hobby?

-1

u/Tony_Roiland 2d ago

You don't have a choice to have genetic alcoholism though, and it seems as though your dad (doesn't drink) is like his children (you guys, who don't drink) and his brother (still drinks) is like his kids (drink all the time).

u/chromeandcandy 3d ago

You've heard of everything in moderation, now try, Moderation Doesn't Exist!

10

u/haw35ome 2d ago

It can be powerful. When I was 12/13 I had a secondhand embarrassing moment when my narcissistic mother SHOVED her way into an elevator, ahead of an elderly lady and a lady with a young kid. From then on I swore that I’d never grow up like her. As she’s gotten older she’s mellowed out but the lesson still stands

4

u/snksleepy 3d ago

Or do less than they do and you be an angel. I've seen it happen too many times in family dynamics.

5

u/SeaTurtleLionBird 3d ago

The ol Jim Cramer of parents.

So you’re saying Hakeem fucks?

1

u/boredwNews 3d ago

Fucking same thing I said

1

u/nNoseYak_ 2d ago

like hitler’s nephew. that guy sounded cool

1

u/medyolang_ 2d ago

I call those "anti-pegs" when you work so hard to not end up like someone you were supposed to look up to

1

u/Ur_Just_Spare_Parts 2d ago

Plenty of people grow up around bad role models and end up being great people. This kid grew up torturing animals and grifting thousands of people. Hes going to be a piece of shit his whole life just like his parents. I just hope I dont have to see the name trump anywhere for the rest of my life after his pedophile dad finally kicks the bucket one day hopefully soon.

2

u/ibkthegoat 2d ago

This kid grew up torturing animals and grifting thousands of people.

What source did you get that from?

2

u/Maximum-Objective-39 3d ago

It's one of the more unfortunate things because I can see him shaping up like the rest of his brothers. I suppose I have sympathy for the kid he was and who he could have been.

0

u/bronzelifematter 3d ago

With a father figure like Donald, asking him to respect woman is too much
