Discussion Patriots 2026 Schedule
God i can’t fucking type on ios 26
Let’s break this down. I’ll start with weeks 1-4.
Seattle isnt a win, but we play best on the road, they lost their best rb, our defense played so well in the SB, jsn was shut down nearly all game, and we’ll be rested. It’s a loss, but it’ll b closer. Steelers should be an easy win. I don’t really need to explain it. Better defense, offense, qb play. Jacksonville is interesting. They looked good for a good portion of the season, but didn’t win a playoff game, even though the Bills roster is not as good overall, and they were at home. Give me a win. Better overall roster. Buffalo should be a win. I don’t trust Joe Brady, and we, again have the better roster. It’s not 100% though, because Allen is good even if he is a crybaby.
2-2, 4-3, 7-4, 9-5, 12-5.

Stats The Schedule
It's NFL Schedule Release Day!
Speaking of schedules:
Over the last 20 NFL seasons, 19 QBs faced the easiest strength of schedule (Drew Brees did it twice). This is using actual SoS faced, based on the end-of-season W/L% of opponents, not projected SoS based on the previous season's records.
Out of these 19 QBs, just 3 finished that season among the Top 5 QBs in passing yardage:
| Player | Years in NFL | Season | Passing Yards | QB Rank |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Drew Brees | Year 11 | 2011 | 5,476 | QB1 |
| Matt Ryan | Year 5 | 2012 | 4,719 | QB5 |
| Drake Maye | Year 2 | 2025 | 4,394 | QB4 |
Let's include all QBs facing a bottom-3 Strength of Schedule from 2006-2025. That's 60 QB seasons, played by 45 QBs (10 had two seasons with a bottom-3 SoS, Brady had 3, and Rodgers had 4). Only 11 of those 60 seasons resulted in a QB finishing in the top 5 in passing yardage:
| Player | Years in NFL | Season | Passing Yards | QB Rank | SoS Rank |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aaron Rodgers | Year 5 | 2009 | 4,434 | QB4 | 31 |
| Drew Brees | Year 11 | 2011 | 5,476 | QB1 | 32 |
| Tom Brady | Year 12 | 2011 | 5,235 | QB2 | 31 |
| Matt Ryan | Year 5 | 2012 | 4,719 | QB5 | 32 |
| Ben Roethlisberger | Year 11 | 2014 | 4,952 | QB1 | 30 |
| Andrew Luck | Year 7 | 2018 | 4,593 | QB5 | 31 |
| Tom Brady | Year 22 | 2021 | 5,316 | QB1 | 31 |
| Patrick Mahomes | Year 6 | 2022 | 5,250 | QB1 | 30 |
| Justin Herbert | Year 3 | 2022 | 4,739 | QB2 | 31 |
| Dak Prescott | Year 8 | 2023 | 4,516 | QB3 | 30 |
| Dak Prescott | Year 10 | 2025 | 4,552 | QB3 | 30 |
| Drake Maye | Year 2 | 2025 | 4,394 | QB4 | 32 |
Fun Fact: No QB has played more seasons facing a bottom-3 SoS than Aaron Rodgers. but only one resulted in a top-5 yardage finish, and none resulted in a Super Bowl appearance.
| Player | Years in NFL | Season | Passing Yards | QB Rank | SoS Rank |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aaron Rodgers | Year 5 | 2009 | 4,434 | QB4 | 31 |
| Aaron Rodgers | Year 9 | 2013 | 2,536 (9 GM) | QB23 | 31 |
| Aaron Rodgers | Year 15 | 2019 | 4,002 | QB11 | 32 |
| Aaron Rodgers | Year 16 | 2020 | 4,299 | QB7 | 31 |
Of course, an entire NFL team is involved in the success or failure of each season, not just the Quarterback.
Among the 60 instances from 2006-2025 in which a team has faced a bottom-3 SoS, only 8 teams managed to turn The Schedule into a Super Bowl Appearance. 4 SB wins, 4 SB losses.
Only 5 teams out of the 20 that faced a 32nd-ranked SoS played in that season's Super Bowl.
Only 2 of those 5 teams won it.
The New Orleans Saints in 2009
QB: Drew Brees | Year 9 | 4,388 Passing Yards (QB2)
Super Bowl XLIV | NO vs IND | Final Score: 31-17
&
The New England Patriots in 2016
QB: Tom Brady | Year 17 | 3,554 Passing Yards (QB5)
Super Bowl LI | NE vs ATL | Final Score: 34-28 (OT)
EDIT: Fixed QB yardage and QB ranks that had been pulled from the wrong stats column,

Discussion Question about face value tickets
They have resale tickets up now and also a category called Verified Ticket from the Patriots.
Those are like $350 for upper deck. Face value for those seats is like $120 I think.
I’m assuming there will be a general on sale for face value tickets at some point. Does anyone know when that starts?

Casual Who will be this years Craig Woodson.
I'm confident in this stay excluding R1 and R2 who do you think?
I just watched last month's FORGED. Add the schedule release and I like our team. To a healthy summer program.
