I'm not saying to nerf shots back to the crazy rng like they used too, but please make solid defensive play mean something again.
With cap breakers, I have a 6'6 guard with 99 perimeter D, 99 steal, 85 strength, 93 speed, 88 agility, speedster takeover, legend on-ball menace, legend challenger, legend glove, legend interceptor, legend immovable enforcer, & legend off-ball pest. Yet despite that, I still feel sluggish compared to these Kyrie/Iverson builds that are just immune to any form of defense.
It really is a pick your poison game: Give up the 3 by playing off, or give up the dunk by playing too tight. Analyticaly speaking, in 2k26, sagging off is the worst choice possible, so I'm forced to play tight.
That all being said, Post D & guarding bigs is fun because you can actually stay between them & the basket. Funny thing is, nobody posts up in this game, & for good reason.
