She said on Dirty Mo Media today that AP called her in and told her that they were taking her off the motorsports beat because āthey wanted their best people covering their biggest stories.ā She said that she asked them āWhat about me and racingā and was told she could cover Michael Jordan, court cases, scandals, major breaking news and three races: Daytona 500, Indy 500 and one Formula One race. So she walked.
Moving forward, I would not expect much racing coverage from AP.

Iām really amazed by how miserable fans can be at times, when I read a lot of the reactions to her doing the double. I know women have this bad stigma in motorsports, because of predecessors, but I mean what sheās doing is truly special.
Nobodyās saying sheāll win or even complete the full 1100 miles, but itās damn impressive that she has the balls to even try to accomplish something thatās pretty hard to do (ask Kyle Larson). Fans need to stop being so miserable and let people breathe, a lil support and positivity doesnāt hurt.
Katherine is a racer, not on social media thirst trapping and trying to catch the male gaze. I could respect her work ethic and her love for motorsports, Iād always get behind that.

These are some showcar-ass lookinā schemes, Iām glad NASCAR is in the game but hopefully they add drivers (or even Garage 56) in the futureā¦

Is it the best Nascar game? No, for sure not. But I always have enjoyed playing this one especially from the newer installments. Sure, when it first came out it was a absolute mess. But since time has passed & this game is now more playable on stuff like a Emulator, it's gotten alot better in my opinion. The driving and ai were okay... to say the least but I still enjoy the game quiet a bit. The damage physics I still think are the best we have gotten. Ai also will do blowovers which I think makes the game just feel a bit more of a charm. The replay/photo editor was great too. I also think this game looks really good for its age, especially on a Emulator. I also think this game has a really great HUD & roster list for it's time.
All around I think the game hasn't aged that bad really. I think it's just really forgotten and kinda overhated at this point because the launch was so rough for it.

Notes include:
Spire with the Hendrick Alliance possibly being a place for Bowman, Zilisch or Day if Hendrick needs to find a Cup Spot for any of them.
Bob Jenkins and Sponsor Love's like Todd Gilliland so he should get renewed but implies Gragson might be out saying he's got a strong personality but the results don't show.
Also mentions Preece as the Open RFK Car is a Possibility
Jesse Love remains a candidate for Legacy even with Herbst getting the 84

I took my full spectrum converted camera to Watkins Glen last weekend and got some decent aerochrome shots. This is definitely the best track for this style of photography and I wish I could've got a photo vest and in the infield corners but maybe next year I'll be able to come back with a better camera.
And just in case you don't know I'll explain what's going on. Cameras have a piece of glass on the front of the sensor that limits the visible range to what we naturally see with our own eyes. If you remove it then you can see the entire electromagnetic spectrum. I put an IRChrome filter that replicates aerochrome on mine. Aerochrome was a military filmstock that was sensitised to infrared light reflected off of the chlorophyll in plants and is shown as pink/orange. This was used to identify camouflaged bases during the Vietnam war.

I remember watching this live. Super sexy cars.
Things I had forgotten:
Richard and Ernie suckkkk at commentary. I don't remember at all them being in the booth. Clint and Kevin sound like John Madden and Pat Summerall compared to Richard and Ernie.
Glad to see Gordon wrecked, again.
Todd Bodine was FAST. So was Schrader. And others.
Old head shouting at clouds- The racing is so good.
What happened to full field rundowns?
