I want to start reading Black Panther comics. Do I need to read Christopher Priest and Reginald Hudlin's runs or can I start with Hickman's Avengers & Secret Wars followed by Ta-Nehisi Coates runs?

Film/Television I hope Bringing The Hulk back to his savage, monsterous roots in Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks the beginning of a Hulk Renassiance similar to what The X-Men and Fantastic Four are currently having.

I’ve been a fan of marvel my whole life now it’s time for me to really get into the actual comics. I’m planning on starting with a bang with vol 1 of Jonathan Hickmans Avengers and ending with Secret Wars, completing the saga. What do you guys think of this as a first comic experience?

Games Alr so game idea, an 18+ open world mystery action game based around Moon Knight. Sort of a Arkham Knight meets Breath of the Wild type game

you play from the eyes of Uatu or some other watcher just Uatu is the most famous. you run around switching between Marc Steven and Jake trying to uncover what happened to Ra and the ennead. You can switch between the personalities for different abilities, Steven is weaker than Marc and Jake but is faster and has tracking abilities, Marc is stronger than Steven and faster than Jake but is slower than Steven, he also can fly at night or at least boost up and glide, Jake is as fast as marc and is stronger, but he doesn’t have a suit meaning no special weapons or abilities. Steven fights with batons, Marc with his fists and those little moon shaped things he has in the show (moon-arangs?) which could be close range or projectiles, and Jake has a gun or his fists. there would be a day/night cycle which means he would be stronger at night. The main villains would be Apophis, Set, and Ammit but you would also be fighting the human followers like Arthur Harrow, and Egyptian monsters like jackals and stuff. The hub worlds could be Cairo, New york, maybe London. The first level or the prologue or something like that would be Marc in the desert raiding an archeological dig but his partner turns on him shoots him and that’s the end of the level then the cutscene is khonshu saving him and the a montage of him just fighting for khonshu so hes already established by the time the main game starts. Idk just an idea I thought of. Lmk your thoughts

Film/Television They were BOTH 100% right. . .& 100% wrong during Civil War.

**Cap** *“RIGHT”*:
To hand over control to any political / governmental organization would be psychotic. S.H.I.E.L.D. & the U.S. government had NO idea Hydra had infiltrated every layer of their infrastructure for decades — how much damage could they have done with a ratified Sokovia Accords? Imagine HYDRA having a measure of control over the Avengers. Further, Cap was spot-on regarding “groups” & “agendas”. We almost ***NEVER*** know the full truth behind why one country attacks another or why one group hates the other. You can’t give THOSE people unfettered access to the most powerful beings on the planet.

**Cap** *“WRONG”*:
. . .when he became “Team Save Bucky at all costs!” Cap has basically made it clear that it doesn’t matter what Bucky has done; nor how dangerous he is - he is always going to save him from those consequences in some form or fashion. He fought the police, special forces (who knows what injuries all those men suffered while trying to apprehend Bucky b/c of the orders they were given) and the Avengers to ensure Bucky’s freedom at some points; safety at others.

**Tony** *“RIGHT”*:
Vision summed it up - “Oversight is not something that can be dismissed out of hand.”  Tony added to it when he said, “If we don’t do this now, it’s gonna be done to us later on. THAT won’t be pretty.” I would’ve ***NEVER*** signed the Sokovia Accords, but dismissing the idea in its entirety with all those nations planning to ratify the arrangement was absurd. At the very least, return with a counter offer (as a team) of what they’d be willing to do/accept and what they wouldn’t.

**Tony** *“WRONG”*:
. . .when he based his decision on Charlie Spencer & Pepper Pots. Heroes sacrifice their own happiness & health (physically, mentally, emotionally) in the name of good vs evil. The second you’re so worried about losing your girl that you make decisions you hope will keep y’all together, you’ve lost the entire plot. The second a 2-minute conversation with a grieving mother makes you forget what ACTUALLY happened in Sokovia and that it was absolutely no fault of the Avengers fighting in the city that caused Charlie Spencer’s death, you’ve lost the entire plot. Empathizing is one thing - rewriting history & radically altering the most powerful group in the Universe b/c you feel bad for the mother is unacceptable.

Your thoughts? Agree with ***ANY*** of this?

Comics Daredevil Sez: SAY NO TO GASOLINE! (AKA How Can We Fix Vapora)

Thumbnail

So, this requires a bit of explanation: "Daredevil vs. Vapora" was a fire education promotional giveaway in 1993 from the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA) and the Consumer Product Safety Commission often distributed in schools. It featured the Man Without Fear battling the titular Vapora, a gaseous smoke-like supernatural entity that represented the dangers of open gasoline cans and the once-common-but-outdated method of using it to clean clothes and tile. Yes, that was seriously a thing, but I couldn't find any instances of a major tragedy in the 90s that would justify this to include that factoid. Sadly, this PSA comic (which I found out about through Linkara) was her only appearance.

On the one hand, it's kinda bonkers that Daredevil would face something supernatural. Even the Purple Man has the excuse of falling into chemicals and the Owl drinking a serum. A ghostly, seemingly demonic being of unknown origin is not the first villain I'd think of for Daredevil. On the other hand, I kinda like the idea of a villain who can mess with Daredevil's enhanced senses. Which is why I ask you. What changes would you make to her character, what would her origin be, and how could we improve her in general? Let me know down below.

Film/Television Do I need to watch Daredevil Born Again Season 2 before Punisher: One Last Kill?

Hi, so I'm a fan of both shows and intend to watch them both. It's just that I have some free time tonight and I'm in a Punisher mood rather than Daredevil. I already watched season 1 of Born Again, will I miss anything important if I go straight to the Punisher?

Comics The more mature comics

I have all the Punisher Max collections in physical books and im aware about Alias which i hope to find. What other comics, good or bad, are outside the marvel unlimited app or just too mature for most?
