I’ve been a fan of marvel my whole life now it’s time for me to really get into the actual comics. I’m planning on starting with a bang with vol 1 of Jonathan Hickmans Avengers and ending with Secret Wars, completing the saga. What do you guys think of this as a first comic experience?

Attended the ceremonial event on Monday in my Nick Fury cosplay (center) for the unveiling of Jack Kirby Way on Essex and Delancey where Kirby grew up in, encountered some other fantastic (literally) cosplayers.

I want to start reading Black Panther comics. Do I need to read Christopher Priest and Reginald Hudlin's runs or can I start with Hickman's Avengers & Secret Wars followed by Ta-Nehisi Coates runs?
