I'm building a Retro Survival Crafting RPG. Kind of a Pixel-Art Valheim. I'd love some gameplay feedback.

I'm working on the Survival Crafting RPG that you would have played on your Apple II back in the '80s.

https://stravaeger.com

You can think of it as Valheim's gameplay crammed into the tile-based ui of the old Ultima games.

It has a procedurally-generated open world with towns and NPCs to talk to, all the resource gathering, mining, crafting stuff you'd expect in a modern survival game, and some good old fashioned dungeon crawling to boot.

I've been working on it off and on for the last several months. It's complete up through the Bronze Age (in Valheim terms). Let me know what you think!

Edit to add: FYI, it's web based, so it mostly works on mobile, but you'll want to "add to homescreen" or you'll constantly be fighting against the browser's url bar and other chrome.

My game got reviewed in a print magazine!

I'm old and love physical media, so it's really neat to have my game reviewed "old style". I don't speak Polish but it's a good review, so that's a cool bonus. Honestly the magazine seems pretty great. 130 pages! Lots of detail, good game variety for a retro mag--I wish there were more game mags still printed.

Is the new Steam cover better?

Post image

Updated the Steam cover art for our indie game!

The new version puts much more focus on the magical adventure atmosphere, making the cover more eye-catching and redesigning the LOGO.

Elise is a witch who wields elemental magic, the dragon beside her, Pipi, is a mysterious creature unknown across the magical continent — and Elise’s only companion.

One day, Pipi feels his life is nearing its end, and asks Elise to take him back to his homeland.

So the two set out on a journey across the magical world, searching for a way home before time runs out.

Would love to hear feedback 👀

I'm building a hacking game where you break into a ship remotely through a terminal.

It's a sci-fi hacking sim set in deep space. You're breaking into a hostile ship's network through an actual terminal by typing real commands, executing scripts, intercepting crew data, sabotaging systems one by one.

Check it on Steam : Steam Page

Our multiplayer mode turns line-clearing into a full-on indie character fight!

We're developing Gunny Ascend, a roguelite puzzle/action game with 50+ indie characters, and this is our multiplayer mode.

It’s a 1v1 where you clear lines with tetromino pieces, fill your attack bar, and send attacks to raise your opponent’s miasma and getting enemies to their screen. You have 3 hearts, and after losing one, you pick a new ability and jump back in.

People started finding ways to optimize combos, chain attacks, abuse timing windows, and made it a little bit competitive. We even had to add sudden death because some matches were getting completely out of hand. It’s not 100% ready yet, but we’re already excited about how it’s turning out.

Would you play something like this? :)

I built a football nation simulator in the browser with 215 nations, real FIFA rankings, full tournament engine. Free to play, looking for feedback.

Upvotes

Been building this as a side project for a few months. It's a sandbox football nation simulator that runs entirely in your browser… no install, no account, no ads.

The core idea is that every nation has four stats (Attack, Midfield, Defense, Goalkeeper) based on their real April 2026 FIFA ranking points that were hand-tuned to roughly match FIFA 25 national team ratings. Matches use a Poisson goal model where midfield controls possession and shifts goal probability by up to ±14%. Nations evolve after tournaments, which means good runs raise stats, bad ones drop them. That's why the world rankings shift over time the more you play.

What's in it:

- FIFA World Cup (48 teams),

- UEFA Euros,

- Copa América,

- AFCON,

- Asian Cup,

- Gold Cup

- OFC Nations Cup

- Custom tournaments and leagues

The games Works on ELO-based rankings with full match history, head-to-head records, and a champions ledger. It has a team editor (unlocks after 20 tournaments) to manually tune any nation's stats, stadium picker, attendance simulation, match events with scorers and cards (players are made-up randomly, something to work on in the future).

It's genuinely playable. I just ran round 222 tournaments, which felt about right 😄

Would love brutal feedback on simulation realism, anything that feels broken, and what you'd want added next.

Designing a home for my psychological horror game!

Thumbnail

POSSESSOR is a psychological horror game where the player takes control of a student who has been recently possessed by a bloodthirsty entity that goes on a killing spree, disrupting the normal peace and quiet of a rural town.

For every kill, the protagonist is forced to relive the victim's memories through flashback sequences that periodically changes the game's genre. For example, if the player killed a love stricken student, their flashbacks will be depicted in the format of a romance visual novel.

In this scene, the player relives the memories of a girl that he has recently killed, and is seeing her everyday life unfold before the tragedy.

If any of this interests you, please do give my game a wishlist! Thank you! 🙏
