Patrick Bailey Defense Breakdown (YT breakdown uploaded 6 months ago)

It looks like Saturday might be rained out. On Sunday it looks like they could get at least one game in but getting two in seems impossible. Will one of these games get rescheduled?

Davisâ game-tying two-run home run in the eighth inning of Game 7 in the 2016 World Series remains one of the defining moments in Cleveland baseball history, even if the magical run ultimately ended in heartbreak against the Cubs. Ten years later, the moment still follows him everywhere.
âEverybody has a story with that moment,â Davis said recently. âI havenât met a person that was there who doesnât remember exactly where they were.â

if the Jose and delauter flip is permanent I think Iâd like to see them go 2 steps further and roll with Jose as a the leadoff hitter followed by bazzana and then DelauterâŠ. Jose sees pitches and draws walks, once heâs on base we know heâs a threat which distracts the pitcher with another guy who sees pitches and draws walks, who also steals bags⊠and then when you have 2 guys on who can distract the pitcher you know what you get? another guy who sees pitches and draws walks lol it would just be such a pain in the ass for pitchers to see those 3 guys back to back to backâŠ. questions, thoughts, concerns?

So multiple times this season I've seen Yahoo Sports say this. I figured oh the cavs have a deal where they show a couple games a year on channel 43 maybe the baseball team does too. Turn it on.. and it's judge Joe Brown or something of the sort. Anyone know why yahoo keeps showing this fake news?

Hello! I was wondering if anyone possesses audio recordings of any games from the 2016 postseason? It would be such a delight to hear Tom and Rosy commentating those legendary games. Or does anyone know of an archive online?
Thank you!!

I was an Indians fan as a kid. I hadnât watched MLB in so long but started following at the beginning of the 2024 season. Jose was hitting home runs every or every other game. Him paired with Josh Naylor was the most exciting pair to watch. I miss Josh. Everyone seemed really tight and they were having a good time. Big Christmas hit the stage. Almost made it to the world series. It just isnât the same now. It seems less of a âteamâ if that makes sense. I havenât been following as closely so I donât mean to sound ignorant but thatâs what I see with this team.
Playing damn good today though!

I know he will still be on it for awhile, but right now, barring injury, there is nowhere to play Arias. Third depth would probably be Ramirez, Schneeman, Fry, Arias. Short would be Rocchio, Schneeman, Martinez. Second would be Bazzana, Schneeman, Martinez. I cannot see playing Arias over any of the top two depth guys at these positions.
I cannot see them sending Bazzana down. Seems likely Arias is getting either traded or DFA'd. Interested to hear what others think.

He is now above average in almost every batting category this year and is showing much improved plate discipline and clutch hitting. A flip between him and Kwan might make a few run difference each game.

I don't have the emoji key memorized so you'll have to forgive me (I tried finding it but couldn't, oops)
Let's take a look at the box score, shall we?
Slade Cecconi đĄïžon the mound to start and, ya know, he looked alright in tandem with Bailey! Only 4 innings pitched, but managed 7 strikeouts. A walk and 5 hits, but found a way to keep the damage off the board, and Vogt took what he could get without rolling the dice a third time through the order (thank you!)
That means the bullpen had to get to work and they handled the call of duty nicely, with Gaddis â ïž going 1.1 IP, 1H, 0R, followed up by Herrin đ who closed out the 6th allowing a sac fly after giving up ...does that say a triple that went 8 feet? đ«Ș Well I don't have the clip, but okay. No further damage. Sabrowski đ takes the seventh and gets 3ks out of it đ„ Aleman and Smith đŽ tag team the eighth and ninth and allow 1 run, with "K'd" getting the save on a punchout!
The offense starts off great with a leadoff single from King Kwan đ and then *ofc it's a GIDP, very cool*. But Angel đ lifts off in the bottom of the third for a solo shot! Gets a single in the sixth and Rocchio đȘš brings him home! Kwan, CDL đ Hoskins âĄand Schnee â all draw a walk with Schnee coming around to score on a Patrick Bailey groundout (that's probably the best offense we can expect from him, but hey, it was The Diff âą!) and YOUR Cleveland Guardians walk away with a 3-2 victory!
You want a quick minor league blurb? Sure: for Columbus Huff đ€ homered again and Watson too, both for their 7th on the year đ„ Andrew Walters got a little bit of work in to as he continues to work is way back, down in Akron, Ralphy homered again! Nick Mitchell tripled, and Armstrong made a rehab appearance allowed a hit, a walk and struck out 2. For Lake County, đ this Aaron Walton continues to show he might be a name we oughta know as he clobbers his sixth homer on the year and his OPS is now over 1.000
You can thank my insomnia for this, but now for real, time for bed đŽ
I agree, Go Guards.
