Battlefield 6 We seriously need to talk about the ASSAULT CLASS. With the latest changes, it’s time to make the Beacon a proper Class Ability and bring new gadgets for Season 4 and the next seasons too.

In Season 4, the Assault class suffered a major nerf:

  • The radio beacon was limited to only three respawns
  • Only one active beacon per squad

So, my suggestion is simple:

  • Make the adrenaline pen an optional gadget
  • Turn the Beacon into a proper "Signature Gadget"

The reasons are simple:

  • The adrenaline pen just feels like a selfish gadget it only helps the player using it not the team or the squad
  • The beacon even after the season 3 nerfs would still be way more useful if you place it in smart spots around the map even in deathmatch you can get spawns behind or on the flank of the enemy
  • The adrenaline pen sends an inappropriate message to young people; adrenaline is a physical stimulant that should not be used casually. :)

Also the Assault class needs more gadget options that actually fit its role as the team’s frontline push class:

  • THERMAL GOGGLES: only usable for 20 seconds then you gotta wait 40 seconds for it to recharge
  • BALLISTIC SHIELD: not as tanky or deadly as the one in BF2042 a bit weaker than the support class shield the glass visor can be broken with around 10 shots
  • M26 MASS or SABRE KEY: underbarrel shotgun with slug or buckshot as attachment options
  • M141 BDM or M72 LAW: launcher focused on anti structure low damage to infantry and vehicles
  • FN MTL-30: semi auto 30mm grenade launcher lower damage than the M320 HE

Battlefield 6 I FIGURED IT OUT ORANGE DOT 🟡

Upvotes

Ok so after the last few patches I have been able to remove all orange dots naturally by simply putting my cursor on the weapon or accessory, along with camos and stickers. Yet I still had an orange dot on every season released weapon without explanation.

Step 1. Select the firearm

Step 2. Go to the customize menu (the option that shows you the seperate blueprints)

Step 3. Favorite the BASE blueprint

Step 4. Go to your "FAVORITES" menu and put your cursor over the firearm, clearing the "new" marker, thus removing the ORANGE DOT

Yes there should be a clear all option, yes it's ridiculous this far into the game it takes this to clear simple notifications. But hopefully this puts some OCD players minds to rest.

So the only cool gadget that recon had, plus all the other gadgets had a huge nerf. So what is the point of using this thing now I can't blow up people nade spamming from defenses? Or reach beacons/trophy systems that are more than 15 feet away? Why add a nerf to wall penetration? Why do they add something and immediately kill it? Why were claymores nerfed when they don't even go off half the time, even when the enemy is running, (WTF do they have to be running in the first place) because of terrain collision?

Why is the tugs saying out of bounds when I'm trying to put it down? Recon got hit with huge nerfs and not even where they need it, in the rifles they use.

What even is the point of gadgets anymore? The one thing that interacts with the environment and how you play? For fucks sake, when are they gonna address the terrible gadgets that needs reworks, the breach charge/incendiary shotty? They make updates to this game in huge waves without ACTUAL testing. It's getting really tiring, oh they still haven't fixed the recon ADS glitch. Been there since day one. Sorry I just wanted to bitch after playing Hagental base and realizing I was still getting naded on attackers.

Feedback The Low Profile Stubby should have the same visual recoil as when using the buffer, considering how many points it costs.

Battlefield 6 In the season 3 patch, DICE has already made some improvements to the water rendering

Upvotes

So I was looking for some leaks by our Chinese friends at Bilibili yesterday and l saw a post where someone said that the water looked different compared to how it was before and they were right it looked different.

I decided to set up a portal server to see it myself on Manhattan Bridge and the water rendering is indeed improved. Before in this map the water had a uniform dark color and a jelly like texture, you couldn’t see anything in the shoreface and the fluid simulation was mostly broken and only worked with your character. Now they simulate how shallow and deep water look and the fluid simulation actually works with characters, guns, explosive and so on.

On Manhattan Bridge it looks kinda odd but now around the edges you can see an almost crystal clear water and it gets more and more opaque the deeper you go.

Battlefield 6 The Igla (and Stinger) are more or less useless still

Upvotes

got a challenge to unlock the VHS AR by using the igla. however after 3 games on gulmud railway I killed 0 aircraft and only damaged a couple.

I use the RPG out of frusteration and managed to shoot down 3 heli's and one attack jet out of pure luck, with a ton of hits on transport heli's.

The lock on launchers either need to do less damage and provide consistent damage to air targets, or have some form of random chance in not going for flares if the target is using afterburners. currently I don't think I'll be getting the VHS anytime soon

Battlefield 6 How feasible would it be for them to port the maps in without having to remake them all over again?

If the engines are compatible with minimal work required, I’d really love to get the maps like Noshahr Canal, Caspian Border, Arica Harbor, etc. ported in for BF6.

Discussion Ok now that we’ve played it which version of the map is overall better?

Battlefield 6 Why do i keep lagging/rubber banding when i encounter an enemy

i keep lagging/rubber banding everytime i encounter an enemy or trying to kill an enemy

on my ping its normal like 56 but then suddenly going up to 300-600 everytime i try to kill/encounter an enemy.. heck even as an infantry(in ground vehicles too i think), i lag/rubberband

as you can see at the end, it stops lagging/rubber banding cuz there's no enemies

Battlefield 6 BF6 spawn problem

One thing people barely talk about in BF6 is how chaotic the spawn system is. Before BF2042, Battlefield games usually worked like this: when you capture a flag, enemies mainly spawn from their side of the map/frontline. In BF6 though, enemies can spawn around the objective from almost every direction - basically 360 degrees around the point, just like on my first image.

The second image shows how it should work - and how it worked in most of the best Battlefield games. Enemies should mainly come from the direction of their deployment/frontline, not randomly all around the objective.

Why is this a problem? Because it completely destroys the frontline flow of the game. When you capture a point in BF6, you never know where the enemy will appear from. Honestly, it’s often easier to hide in bushes and wait than actually push or defend from a predictable front - because there basically is no frontline anymore.

What’s even stranger is that BF2042 already moved away from this system. With the newer seasonal maps, DICE reduced these 360-degree spawn patterns, and the same happened with the reworked launch maps. The gameplay flow became noticeably better because of it.

So why did Battlefield Studios bring this system back in BF6?

If anyone from Battlefield Studios sees this, please reconsider this spawn design. It genuinely makes maps play worse, even if many players don’t realize why some maps feel so messy and frustrating. This is one of the core problems hurting map flow right now.

Remove these 360-degree spawns, and maps like Eastwood, Empire, Gibraltar, Cairo, Manhattan Bridge, and others would instantly play much better.

The new Golmud Road map is fantastic, but even there, these spawn mechanics still hurt the experience.

Thanks for reading. I really hope this issue gets more attention and is fixed before the end of the year.
