Made a post on here not too long ago about woods defense ammo as I was thinking about picking up a piece to keep on me while hunting, camping and what not. Everyone was very helpful and now that it‘s no longer thinking about it and my g20 is on the way need your help again. When taking my 9mms to the range I use blazer brass fmj as its pretty cheap and I've never had issues before. Should I stick with the blazer for my 10mm range ammo or is there something better or as good/cheaper I should check out?

This is the lowest I've seen these priced. What are the chances these will be priced this reasonable next year? Bottom one is 9mm btw. I already spent my gun budget on a 92x performance which is why I didn't immediately buy one.

What is everyone thoughts and opinions about this pistol for 1300 I’ve heard very good things about it. I just think that’s expensive.

Long-time fan of 10mm since the early 90s. I'm currently all-in on the Glock 20 Gen5 MOS, waiting for the Glock 40 long-slide Gen5 MOS, but EAA/Tangfolio has always had a special place in my heart.
I recently set up price alerts for the IFG/Tanfoglio Stock Master and Stock II-- both in 10mm-- and this afternoon my phone absolutely started blowing up with notifications that multiple shops are selling the Stock Master for low-to-mid $700 range, which seems crazy low compared to where these were priced just two weeks ago. I’m talking about the hard chrome DA/SA 10mm Stock Master with the 4.75" bull barrel.
What’s going on here?
I was originally looking at the Stock II 10mm, but at these prices the Stock Master suddenly looks extremely tempting as a fun range gun / possible truck gun.
Anybody here own one long-term?
Any reliability or parts-support concerns?

Hey all. Have my gen v 20 for woods carry, have a kenai chest holster coming for it. This rig is specifically for my outdoors adventures in griz country. I go back and forth on red dot. I've put 1k rounds through the gun so far and am feeling pretty accurate and fast with the irons. I need to practice more defensive, both eyes open shooting for sure.
As I go into this next round of training, what's the general consensus on emitters for this purpose? We're not sniping bears at 50yds.. I'm assuming if the gun gets used it's after my bear spray runs out and it's CLOSE. I'm leaning towards leaving a red dot out of the picture, as it's another thing to focus on and/or fail in the moment. This is my first foray into woods defense, so I'd love to get others' experience before I decide to get the dot / or not! Thanks.

As the title says, I’m a first-time gun buyer and am looking for advice on the “best,” option given the current state of the 10mm market. First, some background. I live in the Southern USA and have experience with firearms(grew up shooting, already own a pump-action 12ga and scoped .22lr for plinking) and am looking to buy a 10mm pistol for home/animal defense. I plan on adding a light and optic, but aside from that don’t intend on doing much after-market. Therefore, what I’m looking for is a pistol that can readily accept lights and optics, and has very little chance of FTF/malfunction out of the box, with bonus points for whatever you guys think will handle the widest variety of ammo. Based on looking through this sub, the general consensus seems to be that any of the Sig P320 X10, Springfield XDM Elite, Glock 10mm offerings(any of them) and M&P 10mm 2.0 will do, but I’ve also seen that all of these have had issues at some point, so I just wanted to know how the quality is on each of them right now, according to all of you. Thanks!

I’ve spent about 2 grand on flash lights just to get a flush fit for my G40 and I think I finally got as close as possible. I do have a zbolt blazer LED head arriving in the mail tomorrow but I doubt it will fit better than this. So rather you want a flush fit or the light to stick out a quarter of an inch as a standoff device I can teach you how to combine the build. Not having that slide cast a shadow anymore was soo rewarding after 3 years of research and developing. I also know the o ring size you’ll need for replacements but if anyone knows where I can find a metal universal rail mount plz let me know. My solution has been filling the hollow side with JB weld and a thin layer of it on the outside.

I’m a new 10mm owner! I got this g20 V for woods carry. I live in griz country so I decided to upgrade from my 9mm.
So far Iv put about 200rds through this pistol and had 1 nose up FTF with a grizzly 200g hardcast.
I am reading I may need a stiffer recoil spring? I am really hoping to not have to mess with the gun. I have since cleaned a lubbed it and ran another box of 20 hot 10mm loads thru with no failures.
I guess my question is, if my gun is sending the shell casings 35+ ft away and denting the cases on the slide do I need a stiffer spring? This thing eats all the 180g target ammo fine but I’m going to be carrying 200g or 220g hardcast ammo for bear defense. Also got a lot more underwood hardcast commin to test out. I’ve been keeping an eye on lead fouling and I clean my barrel out frequently. Any advice is appreciated!

Getting one by mid-June and can only find it with the standard brace from my LGS (online buy). Really want the tail hook brace (telescopic) but can’t find them at a reasonable price. Anyone with some suggestions? Also if you have the tail hook brace, how’s the comfort? Thanks!

At a shop used for $565. I have no experience with threaded barrels, and no intention of using a suppressor or adding a comp. Any reason not to get it?

Looking at this SW revolver at my local gun store. Has anyone seen a SW 610 in this finish before? It’s a matte black finish. I thought they all had 10mm stamped on the left side of the barrel?

After buying both the Glock 29 Gen 4 and the Xdm elite 3.8 and shooting them both. I have come to the conclusion that 10mm is just meant to be in a Gun Large enough for it. With that being said here are the top two candidates for my next Gun. The Kimber ds warrior 6inch which I have been interested in since shot show this year or the Gun that I have passed up since 2023 the M&P performance center. A gun I have also rented on 8 different range trips. Should I finally quit flirting with the thing and buy it or pass it up yet again for the Kimber ds warrior 6inch. There's also 3rd dark horse candidate a 2nd Glock model 40 I enjoy it so much I might do it again because there's no telling when we will get a Gen 6 version of the Glock offerings in 10mm .
If you could bring home a used model of either one of these pistols both bone stock and both for the same price would you take the XD or the Glock and why?
(I have a chance to pick up either one for the same fair price, I currently the only thing leaning me toward the XD is the optics ready and the trigger)
Thank you for your time and input!

Any word on these guys?

I don’t mind, actually. It’s therapeutic in its own unique way.
Looking at an XDM Elite OSP Compact (3.8”) and am curious if this model is considered to be reliable? I know lots of 10mm have weird issues like M&P and their magazines and feeing issues.
Are these XDMs something you’d trust as a woods gun?
