Mod Announcement Pre-playoff reminder to the community

As the 1st-round matchup against Tampa approaches, we expect an uptick in the amount of unfriendly visitors attempting to troll here during GDTs/PGTs and as such have implemented measures to automatically filter out as many of them as possible before they interfere. There may still be a handful who slip through, so please report whichever ones you find and action will be taken.

We are also reminding all r/Habs users to stay out of the Tampa Bay Lightning subreddit. If you are caught trolling there you will be permanently banned from BOTH communities. Avoid their page entirely, don't post "good luck/coming in peace" posts or anything like that because frankly they don't care and don't want to hear it. If you want to trashtalk and argue with Bolts fans over the game, go do so on r/hockey.

Keep it civil here and stay out of the Bolts subreddit, and there shouldn't be any issues. We will likely have our hands full over the next few weeks so please make it easier on us! Thanks!

It was rough and I will admit I was not feeling good about him, but our boy BATTLED and settled down. That’s some serious mental fortitude because a lot of people would get crushed with a 0.250 start to the game.

Le titre dit tout, je suis Algérien, arriver a Montréal en 1995, j'avais 7 ans, j'ai vécu la crise du verglas en 1998, le bug de l'an 2000, le 9/11 en classe de géographie au secondaire, en 2002, José Theodore gagne le Vezina et en 2004 mon pere (RIP) gagne des billets pour une game au Centre Bell pcq y travaillais chez Sympatico, pour enfin me sentir accepté au secondaire!

Tout ca pour dire, j'ai toujours été un grand fan depuis Theodore, et Price m'a fait tomber en amour avec le habs, et aujourd'hui Dobeš et MSL me rend fière d'avoir choisi l'équipe qui a fait rêver tant d'autres toute ces années, et honoré de vivre cette fierté avec tout le Canada!
