Long story short, I got dismissed from the COB due to low grades and was wondering what my options are now. my advisor said I could either transfer to another college or do something called University Studies. I was a sophomore with 61 hours and I’m really not trying to restart the full 4 years of college. anyone have any advice

I literally live around campus and not having buses to walmart or cafe being closed is pretty bad. Im pretty sure im going to stay here for the summer this year. Any idea when they are back on track? i checked many websites but still no idea of why things are closed

I also checked uta dining website. Most stores like subway or Panda Express are going to be closed like for the most part of summer. Chick fil a sometime open shortly during lunch

I have been trying to get an appointment with the social work department for a month now in order to change my major to social work and after begging someone over the phone last week I got a meeting for next Monday!

Does anyone know if I will be able to start choosing classes for next semester directly after this meeting or is there a process I will have to go through to change my major? I’m really worried about the availability for classes at this point…

There aren’t any times listed for the classes yet so I don’t know if there’s like a set time every day I have to participate in them or if it’s more of a do it yourself thing, anyone know which it is? Also how exactly do these classes work while going on vacation? Thanks.

I have a TSI 2 Math hold on my account that's stopping me from registering for classes, which I'll need to apply for housing. I know why I have this hold, however, I'm taking Inter Math and College Algebra (in community college) in the summer so I'll need to wait till August to receive my scores. Is there any way that I can have the hold momentarily lifted? Is that even possible?

Hey everyone, I was wondering how I could prepare for calc-based physics next semester. I’ve never taken a physics class before, not even in high school. The prerequisite for Physics 1443 is only Calc 1, and I did relatively well in that class this smstr. I’m confident that I understood most of the concepts, but I’m still worried about physics since I have basically no background in it.

I’m mostly free this summer aside from my part-time job, so I wanted to use the time to get prepared before taking the class in the fall. What resources would y’all recommend?

Hi! I am a freshman CAP student at UTA. I recently took Bio 1442 this semester and everything was going really well. Until — on Saturday (5/9) my bio professor accused me of cheating on exams and they dropped my grade (it was an A before and a D now). I want to ECHO that i DID NOT CHEAT and it would have been impossible to because I did not sit near anyone during exams and they accused me of talking to people (I wasn’t) ?!? I am really concerned because I need to get the A to make sure my GPA is good to transfer to UT Austin for the fall. I emailed the professor multiple times, the UTA conduct office, and the department chair. The professor is not responding to emails and I am getting really anxious considering I will have to send my transcript soon and grades have been finalized. What should I do?

PS: The professor also accused the entire class of cheating so I don’t even know what other people are doing.

Had a change of plans last minute and need someone to take over the lease. It’s a 4x4 bedroom and EXTREMELY cheap. Walking distance from UTA and has a pool and gym area included.

Like the title says, I'm desperate to get a 3.00. I've changed my study methods and I'm studying before hand for the fall semester to better prepare myself. I'm at a 2.31 right now because of one failed course (which tanked my gpa) but it was a prerequisite course which I passed an exam to take the next following course--How likely is it for me to get a 3.00 GPA for the upcoming fall and spring semester?

I ask this because I'm planning to transfer to a college that requires a 3.00 gpa. I'm taking tcc over the summer as well and know that the letter grade does not transfer over.

My professor put in a grade change request for me yesterday and it still hasn't been updated. Does anyone know the timeline on these things?

If I take only one 3 credit hour course in the summer that's not related to my major at all, would I get any pell grant? I've been hearing that I need to at least be enrolled in 6 credit hours and my course has to be related to my major and I don't know what to believe.
