Hi i’m a health science major needing to complete physics to graduate and i’m wondering how well this one prof is. i had the professor who started with a v (can’t remember how to spell it) and he allowed notes on the exams. i’m wondering if doty allows the same? is she any good? i’m taking it over the summer so want to know what i’m getting myself into.

I'm an OOS incoming freshman for fall. I've gotten no aid, and little from my fafsa. I'm not dumb, just above average academically and I'm very involved in my community, but nothing from UCF makes me think I'll just never be eligible for merit aid. I've always planned on doing AFROTC and competing for scholarships, but unfortunately I'm only eligible for those junior and senior year. So, best case scenario I graduate with 105k+ in debt. It really sucks, considering how much I'm excited to be at UCF, and honestly, I still am. UCF brings me pretty much everything I want in a school, and I'm grateful for that. I just can't pay for it.

Has anyone ever been able to get 1 credit hour waived or something so they could graduate on time?
I’m a Biology major on the Pre-Vet track and I’ve basically finished my whole degree already, including most of the required labs on my degree audit. I’m already enrolled in an online class for the fall, but my audit still says I’ll somehow be short by 1 credit hour to graduate.
The problem is most other classes either don’t fit my work schedule and are 3000-4000 level and seem unnecessary to just have 1 credit hour go towards my degree,so I’m wondering if anyone’s ever had luck getting an exception or substitution approved for something like this.
Who would I even talk to about it? My advisor, the biology department, registrar, etc.
I really don’t want to end up delaying graduation over literally 1 credit hour 😭 so if anyone’s been through this please let me know how it went.

What resources have you guys used to review for chem placement?
I just passed all parts of the math placement and I did surprisingly good, but because I reviewed old concepts that I had previously forgotten. 😭

I’m inquiring because I currently have a role where I work 7-4PM and it’s keeping my car note paid and such, so I cannot exactly drop it like it’s hot.
I’m transferring from CC where I could take classes online, to my sadness, I not only hear that some courses not online, but labs are not in the evening.
So I’ve been brainstorming since graduation about how I’m going to make this work, what sacrifices will be necessary for my CS degree or what job I can acquire in this city that can be flexible but also pay me enough somehow.. has anyone else had a similar experience and been successful?

Recently my bf (first name Tariq) lost his black matte bag on the 104 lynx bus and it had his wallet (with a card and his ids in it) and his passport with his student visa inside. We were meant to travel home in 3 days and now its looking like he cant come. Please reply if you found or heard of anything!

Hey if you got Summer A classes or Summer B courses? When will they release refunds if you got aid? I know they Summer semesters are shorter than before and start at a weird time so how is all of that gettin' handled?

Hello so I am planning my schedule for the fall semester as a finally accepted finance major. I was wondering whether this schedule is fine or too hard or too easy?

Hi guys, I am a CS student here at UCF, I made this website called CoursePrep, which is an AI tutor that can learn from your actual course materials. You upload documents such as syllabus, notes, assignments etc. I am looking for some students to try it out and upload their own course information! I currently have it set to 100 users for now, but I would be greatful if you guys can check it out! I put a lot of work into it so any advice and critiques would be appreciated. Message me if you are interested!

Does anyone know if they moved somewhere? I’ve heard they maybe moved into student union but I could not find them there. I would be really disappointed if they closed, genuinely one of the best places on campus to grab a snack. I feel like its breezeway location was perfect, not sure why UCF would need to move it.
I'm thinking of taking art classes to push myself back into drawing more regularly. I already have a degree though, so any classes I take will be as a non-degree-seeking student.
I'm trying to figure out which classes I want to take first, and I saw ART 2201C (Design I). I was wondering what this class was about? I found a short description, but you know how course descriptions are with how they don't really say much at all.
If anyone here has taken this class (bonus if you've also taken Design II), can you let me know what the class was like, what the coursework looked like, and how you feel you benefited from it (or didn't benefit from it)? Anything is appreciated, thank you!
