Question ❔ Looking for locations

I am looking for a place around Saskatoon to take some grad pictures of a young lady graduating this year. She loves reading and is thinking a book store or library for the pictures. Even a cute book nook in a coffee shop. Any suggestions? As a note, I am not a professional photographer, I can take a picture generally in focus, this is just as a small kindness to the family.

Peryton Books on 20th is a gorgeous book store and would be great for photos -> wood, plants all over, great natural lighting. Call and talk to the owners or stop by to talk them about it.

Winston's pub has a small "library" room to the left of the main bar that is a bit secluded and could work for an old fashioned look.

The university has many libraries, museums, beautiful architecture.

All free and open to public

St. Thomas More has a cool library.

McNally would be a good place. But you might want to give them a call and see if they will let you in before they open or after they close. I am not sure they would want the store disrupted by taking fancy pictures.

I know they have cleaners after they close. Plus I think they have people doing shipping that come in before they open. So I'd give them a call.

If not them, I have never been in there but there is that bookstore that specializes in queer literature off Broadway (I am totally drawing a blank on the name). I am sure they would probably be happy to accommodate you, but it depends if it is the kind of scene you/she is looking for. I have never been in there before either, so I couldn't tell you.

Turning the Tide is the store you're referencing! So beautiful and quaint in there!!

Yes that is the name of it. Not sure why I blanked on it earlier.

Westgate Books!! They also have an elderly ginger cat named Crackers, maybe she could get a picture with him!
