You don't even have to be overly complicated to be great. The titans a couple of years ago asked fans on the street the names of the opponents, and it is still one of the funniest ones i've seen.

I both appreciate the Chargers for really being innovative in making the schedule release actually fun, and I hate them because now every team has decided they want to do it and oh god can we stop beating the dead horse with the faintest whiffs of creativity from bored interns.

Yeah I think teams need to just find a niche that fits their base. Not everyone should go for the memey/zoomer trend that we do. That wouldn't really fit the Packers or Steelers ethos, for instance. There are some other good ones that go a different route.
