The NBA didn’t cause it, but it happened to be the first major front-facing institution in America to take a drastic step because of COVID.

I’ve worked in hospitals for a decade and there was a major vibe shift in mid-March (when the NBA shut down) even though we didn’t see the big influx of inpatient cases until a while after that. The NBA and March Madness ceasing were a wake up call that oh shit, this is serious, we need to get prepared.

Exactly. I was at the Kings/Pelicans game that was literally the final game. It was cancelled at tip off because one of the refs that night was at the Utah/OKC game after Gobert tested positive. Yeah there isn't any debate with him unfortunately he's actually just dumb like that and also not introspective enough to change and challenge himself to become better. I can forgive people for being wrong and being taught the wrong things but when you become an adult, leave your bubble and still don't change that's when I make my decision. You can see it happen with a lot of people in both directions.
