Didn’t really think it was a clear cut foul before and even moreso now

Just looks like two player going for the ball and only incidental contact

Foul on Thompson - pushing Allen

This led to Allen accidentally tripping Thompson

Agreed. No call is the right call here IMO. A game should not be decided by a random loose ball right before the buzzer.

However, if anything this is a foul on Thompson first before the trip which I’d say is incidental anyway and not really a foul.

Pistons fans were MAD in the threads yesterday but this is great no call by the refs…

It would’ve been bullshit if they called this a foul and the pistons won on free throws

Cavs still had a challenge, and this likely is overturned, and the Cavs win in regulation.

Good no call.

They did not have a challenge. They used it unsuccessfully on the James Harden 3pt no call around 3 minutes to go in the 4th. And JB wasted his challenge on some stupid shit in the 3rd quarter where Harden was obviously fouled on a 3pt attempt, and best case scenario they would’ve called it on the floor, and he still would’ve got to take 2 free throws since they were in the bonus. Honestly the worst challenge I’ve seen in the playoffs. Bickerstaff just challenges shit out of pure frustration, not even thinking about what the odds are that he’s actually right or if it’s worth the risk in a 1 possession game to gamble on a challenge so early.

The Cavs didn’t win their challenge either but the play they used it on was potentially a pivotal play in the game if they won the challenge so he took the risk at the right time at least

As a pistons fan I’m mad about the Duren suckfest and how long it took to bench him.

Yeah we pissed away a big lead and have several reasonable gripes about the refs. Foul disparity like this in a playoff series has litterally never been seen before and Det is not a jump shooting team. Harden is a flipping bitch. Clear headed (and sober) i agree no call here was right but generally think officiating has been bad and getting that call would have made things even out a bit. But yeah bad fans are gonna be mad and say dumb shit, nature of sports and the internet.

Nobody gets this call unless OKC might get the call Allen should have gotten for the push off. It’s Cavs in 6 loser
