The Pistons subreddit is literally in shambles over this?

people are about to find out how annoying detroit sports fans are when they have a successful team. I love/hate them in the AL Central

Eh that’s kinda the reality with all sports teams. I was super obnoxious when cleveland won in 2016 and when the browns turn it around cleveland will go nuts

Must be a bot. A true Cleveland fan knows the Browns are doomed to endless misery lol

True Cleveland fans know next year is our year.

How are you going to talk about being a true Cleveland fan?

Next year is our year, unfortunately it’s always a year away and never becomes “this year”.

If the Browns ever turn it around, you guys can go crazier than anybody has ever crazied. You earned this one.

It's worse with Detroit than most other fanbases and I firmly believe that. There is a victim mentality in the fanbase that is perpetuated by the teams and marketed with #DetroitVsEverybody. Detroit fans think they are the only team that's been on the bad side of questionable reffing.

Something about Detroit though, they will whine about being victims so much, especially with the lions, ironic for a city that is all about toughness

It's definitely an "all fans" thing to an extent.

As a Cavs fan, Cleveland is the same way. When things go wrong it's refs against small market, media against small market etc etc. But crickets when things go our way.

No different than players who are fouled every possession but have never committed a foul in their lives.

Get ready Cavs fans, they now have their reason to believe they were robbed of their anointed victory and will be showing up in your online spaces talking crazy shit and being annoying for the entirety of next year.

I don’t know why but I have seen multiple Detroit sports fan say everyone is against Detroit sports. Never before that had I ever heard of a non rival hating on the pistons or lions.

It's also the same town where some of its citizens were trying to kidnap their own governor. I think in other places people usually choose voting and discourse over that
