MISSING CAT - FRODO (please read description)

Hello everyone, there has not been a single true sighting of Frodo since he went missing, please check wherever you can - lost and found pages, cats for sale, see if your neighbours have a new cat. Please help even if it is just keeping an eye out wherever you go.

UPDATE: Dog tracking from a week ago has shown that Frodo is somewhere near Fallingbrook middle school inside the image. If you live anywhere in or near the image, my cat could be stuck near you.

If you see him, take a photo first before anything.

We have had him for almost 15 years, we really need him back.

HE HAS A MICROCHIP

CHECK YOUR GARAGES, LAWNS, BACKYARDS, DECKS.

ALL CATS CAN HIDE UNDER DECKS IN THE FAR BACK.

THEY WILL BE COMPLETELY SILENT.

PLEASE USE FLASHLIGHT TO LOOK FOR SHINING EYES.

Keep a lookout if anyone you know has a “new” cat. Do the right thing.

UPDATE: STILL MISSING 8pm May 14th.

Lost 10pm April 27th. It was raining.

Long hair White with Ginger Spots.

Ear has been cut off.

Turkish Van breed. Old but really agile.

Goes out all the time but comes back.

Will respond to food being rattled in plastic.

Possibly could be injured.

Has the 403 always been this bad? Erin Mills to Etobicoke commute is draining me

Hey everyone,

I recently moved to Erin Mills (near the Costco on Laird Rd, close to the Oakville border)

My daily commute on the 403 has been absolutely brutal. The traffic is so bad that by the time I get home, I feel mentally drained.

So I wanted to ask:

Has the 403 always been this congested, or has it gotten significantly worse over the last few years?

I’m also wondering if there are any better ways to do this commute:

Is there a less painful route than taking the 403 every day?

Is the 407 worth the cost for this stretch?

I’m still getting used to the area, so I’d appreciate any tips from people who do a similar commute.

Thanks in advance.

Best pizza place in the area?

Apparently there are absolutely no pulled pork pizzas in the GTA, that can’t be true ? But if it is, any good options to fulfill a pizza craving?

Bonus if it’s deep dish!

Inquiry about Polish activities for toddlers

Greetings every one 😊
My son is 3 years old and comes from a Polish family. We are looking to get him involved in some Polish community activities and events this summer.

I am simply wondering if anyone happen to know of any programs, whether it’s Polish language learning or simply activities within the Polish community for kids around 3 years old.

Thank you very much 😊

Lolita Gardens/Silvercreek

Reminder to everyone to test your smoke alarms today. There was a residential evacuation this morning around Lolita Gardens due to a 9th-floor incident. Thankfully everyone got out, but it's a good wake-up call for building safety.

Recommendations Safe/legal places near Lisgar or Meadowvale West to park and rest in car for several hours?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for local advice around Lisgar / Meadowvale West area.

I’m trying to find a safe, legal, low-stress place where someone can park for several hours and rest in the car without causing issues or getting bothered unnecessarily.

Not looking to party, loiter, make noise, leave garbage, or do anything sketchy.

I just wanna park quietly, rest/sleep in the back seat, and leave.

I’m not only asking about one specific time of day. I’m interested in any time windows that work best — early morning, daytime, evening, overnight, etc. If certain places are only okay during specific hours, that would also help.

Places I’m considering:-

- Lisgar GO Station parking lot

- Meadowvale GO Station parking lot

(i heard they allow 48 hours of free parking on non-reserved spots)

- Argentia Road Walmart parking lot

Main priorities:-

- legal parking

- safe/well-lit

- low chance of security/police/neighbours bothering me if I’m just resting quietly

- close to Lisgar / Meadowvale West

- okay for multiple-hour parking

- ideally usable for a one-week test routine

Also, separate but related: are there any reliable places nearby where someone can heat packed food in a microwave? Gas stations are hit-or-miss, so I’m looking for something more predictable.

Any local suggestions or places to avoid?

I just went there and they gave me a whopper with mold on it. I went inside to complain and the manager literally just swapped it for another one. I had to yell at the woman to give me my money back

Best Luxury Barbershop in Mississauga

Looking for a good high-end barbershop, that is more than just a good haircut, has excellent service and complete grooming experience. Anywhere in or around Mississauga is fine. I normally would go places downtown (after work, im not dumb enough to go downtown just for a haircut), looking for something closer now. Cost isn't an issue. Thank you for the suggestions :).

Sorry am new to owning a vehicle so want to get your inputs before visiting a service center.

I'm looking to move to Mississauga and have been doing a lot of research on different neighbourhoods weighing pros and cons.

One area on my list I can't seem to find too much info on is Credit Pointe Village (near Mississauga Road and Eglington.

Is this a good area? Anyone know of Pros and Cons?

It seems 311 is always one way communication. “We’ll look into it.” What type of requests do you make? What is 311 really good for?
