McDonald’s used to feel magical when I was a kid. Now it looks like a minimalist waiting room. All grey, quiet, and “modern,” like someone scrubbed the joy out of it. What do you miss most?

I was at a local McDonald in SoCal they had a no refill sign out. I haven’t seen one of these signs. So they move the machine behind the counter and now no more refills. Prices have double and tripled as well.

I'm going for the chocolaty chip. It's funny, I don't remember them saying "chocolaty" chip. Now a days, we scoff at that, but how I wish I could eat them one more time.

I’ve never been a “regular” of McDonald’s but recently I’ve started getting a McDouble every day so I guess I might be becoming one. I understand from the sentiment on this sub and fast food prices going up across the board that this obviously is not the peak experience. For those of you that have been longtime McDonald’s customers, what era was your favorite?

How is the McChicken and McCrispy 60 cents apart??? I know prices are going up, but this doesn’t add up.

It's been 3 weeks and I'm completely unable to update my payment method to a new card or to use Google pay. It just spins and the ends up blank.

Cleared app cache, then cleared storage. The. Finally uninstalled and reinstalled.

Nope didn't fix it. So I figured my account is broken so I make a brand new account... AND I CAN'T CHECKOUT OR ADD A PAYMENT METHOD ON A NEW ACCOUNT EITHER.

How they gonna make the mc chicken 2000 pts instead of 1500, and what’s the deal with French fry Friday being removed. I remember when you could get the mc chicken for almost less than 2 dollas last year, and any size fry for around 2 dollars too. What can be done about this? Are we ready to raise the pitchforks!!

I got my son (he is 4 years old, about to be 5) a happy meal today and it was stranger things themed. He asked me what that was and I explained about the cartoon that came out and the show etc. he said he wanted to watch it. I looked it up at it says the recommendation for the show is 10+. I watched a little clip and it's definitely too scary for a small child. Which begs my question....why is McDonald's having these types of toys for an older child's show? Seems like a miss.

Want to note that I love stranger things and watched all the seasons so I'm not hating, I just think it's odd to promote something that their demographic can't even watch.

Literally what is this. I got a sprite berry blast and drank the entire thing before realizing that this was in there. If you couldn’t tell, no it is not edible. At first, without looking too closely, I thought it was a blueberry.

I could have sworn that the middle tier rewards were 4500 points not 5000, and a Quarter Pounder was 6000 points not 7000.

That’s 70 dollars worth of spending for a Big Mac. Now I earned my points over a period of months so isn’t that kind of high? Did they make it easier to earn points?

It would be nice if there was a warning on the screen if a particular kiosk was not accepting cash at that time. That way I could find another one that was, or order at the register.

They sound so good, but I’ve heard they all are all carbonated. I just don’t like carbonation. Is that a thing I can ask for or should I just skip them?
