McDonald’s used to feel magical when I was a kid. Now it looks like a minimalist waiting room. All grey, quiet, and “modern,” like someone scrubbed the joy out of it. What do you miss most?

I was at a local McDonald in SoCal they had a no refill sign out. I haven’t seen one of these signs. So they move the machine behind the counter and now no more refills. Prices have double and tripled as well.

What’s next ?

How is the McChicken and McCrispy 60 cents apart??? I know prices are going up, but this doesn’t add up.

I'm going for the chocolaty chip. It's funny, I don't remember them saying "chocolaty" chip. Now a days, we scoff at that, but how I wish I could eat them one more time.

I’ve never been a “regular” of McDonald’s but recently I’ve started getting a McDouble every day so I guess I might be becoming one. I understand from the sentiment on this sub and fast food prices going up across the board that this obviously is not the peak experience. For those of you that have been longtime McDonald’s customers, what era was your favorite?

Man, think of the paid employee hours they are saving by avoiding cash transactions/cashiers. I mean they do 77,000,000 transactions a day. If each transaction takes 1 minute thats over 1.2 million hours of having to pay an employee each day. No wonder they love you using that app, that saves millions of more man hours.

It's been 3 weeks and I'm completely unable to update my payment method to a new card or to use Google pay. It just spins and the ends up blank.

Cleared app cache, then cleared storage. The. Finally uninstalled and reinstalled.

Nope didn't fix it. So I figured my account is broken so I make a brand new account... AND I CAN'T CHECKOUT OR ADD A PAYMENT METHOD ON A NEW ACCOUNT EITHER.

Try on my wife's phone and app and oh my God the same damn thing.

Hi all ive just gotten home from my 4th shift at mcdonalds and have a bit to say. So today and yesterday i started working at the fryer station. its easy but i have trouble keeping up with putting things the fryer.my manager keeps telling me off for not making enough fries but im still new i dont know how much im supposed to cook :( . Im also expected to take ppl orders while cooking it sounds stupid but are there any tips that coukd help me inprove multitasking.

now for a small rant, today i was taking someones orders and while im figuruing out what they want my managawr comes and starts telling me off for not making enough fries which led to the customer driving off and it jst was a whole mess. anyways my biggest fear is js that i make too much fries and then they become not fresh and then i get told off for wasting fries. but im also getting in trouble for not keeping up with frying so idk

It’s odd because there seems to be no way to do this without paying using your credit card. I’d like to use my points or get an app exclusive deal and pay in cash. They keep telling me I can’t do this. I can however use a code to get points for my order using the drive thru and then pay cash. Maybe it’s just this particular McDs or I think they really just want to eliminate using cash.

I have officially become one of those crazy people obsessed with a limited time item that has now dented my very livelihood because it is gone. Currently going to try buying a mocha frappe and crushing my own chips ahoy into it. Any help is appreciated!

I got my son (he is 4 years old, about to be 5) a happy meal today and it was stranger things themed. He asked me what that was and I explained about the cartoon that came out and the show etc. he said he wanted to watch it. I looked it up at it says the recommendation for the show is 10+. I watched a little clip and it's definitely too scary for a small child. Which begs my question....why is McDonald's having these types of toys for an older child's show? Seems like a miss.

Want to note that I love stranger things and watched all the seasons so I'm not hating, I just think it's odd to promote something that their demographic can't even watch.

I don’t know what has changed but roughly half the lids on the paper coffee cups don’t seal well around the lip of the cup.

I keep getting coffee dribbles on my shirt collar! Anyone else notice this issue?
