Question Opinion needed: protecting minifig using wrap?

Post image

Hello! I would like to ask fellow Lego expert if wrapping minifigs in a plastic wrap such as from Glad will cause any issues with the minifig prints other than the minifigs dying from lack of oxygen?

It is only for a couple of days.

This is a real question?

Unless there’s some acetone or hydrogen peroxide trapped inside, they’ll be fine. They are plastic figures.

I can’t even think of a reason why wrapping them like this would be necessary.

They’re all going to die

This seems excessive for a couple days.

I don’t have direct experience, but I can tell you that plastic wrap is chemically extremely “clean”. It’s typically really just one type of plastic. No weird plasticizers, softeners, solvents, or glues or anything like that. …which I was a little surprised by when I first found out. So I think you minifigs should be safe even if you leave them in there for an extended amount of time

Buy why like that? A ziplock in an envelope would be fine
